This HP laptop is awesome. It is super fast and easy to set up and use. The graphics and the 17.3" screen is brilliant. It is in Windows "S" mode but it took a minute to switch it into Home mode. I highly recommend this laptop!

So I just unboxed this. It has a laptop battery. I know this because it powers on without being plugged in, and it's charging now. It is not possible for users to replace said battery. What's a battery last, two years? Is it even possible to replace the battery at all when it dies? How much will it cost to to that? This sucks! Maybe save some coin and buy a desk top instead of this one.

Purchased about almost two months ago & it’s really big. My old laptop was just not doing it for me anymore. This one is great for playing EAgames & the usual tasks that are needed from a laptop. Very happy with this product & will recommend it to anyone who needs an upgrade!

So far so good. I haven't owned it for too long and I wish the price was less than what is was. Also, it would be nice if this huge laptop had a keyboard that lights up. Other than that, it is faster than my old laptop.

This is exactly what I needed in a computer. The only feature I wish it had were back-lit keys, so I bought an L.E.D. USB light for when it's dark. Plenty fast and plenty of storage. SSD makes startup a breeze!

Love this Laptop, we first bought 4 of them for our office employees in March when the Covid pandemic forced everyone to work remotely. Our employees loved the laptop I decided to order it again for another employee. Great laptop for the price. Super efficient and fast.

From the moment I took it out of the box, I knew this was a good buy. The laptop has a nice feel to it. The full-sized keyboard is perfect for my big hands. The set-up was super easy and I was able to sync up with all of my cloud-based applications in a very short amount of time.

Happy with the computer until I ran into "S-Mode," a ridiculous system installed by Microsoft - a pain in several body areas. Geek Squad disabled it (had to be in-store, cannot do it online). Then, a couple days later, it went back into S-Mode, which is not supposed to happen, but somehow it did. Had to make another in-store appointment. That time, GS could not get rid of it without resetting the whole system -- which meant I was without the computer for several days. Everything is now repaired, and I am more than satisfied.

This unit replaced an older Lenovo. The SSD makes such an improvement difference in booting and loading apps. I don't like the startup in the limited Windows 10 mode that only allows loading of apps from the store. I needed to do some research but I learned that an upgrade to the standard Windows Home is available at no charge through a link to Microsoft. That allowed me to convert the machine to be able to run standard Windows apps.

Good laptop in most attributes. Only about 3-4 hours of battery though, and it does not have the greatest sound quality. Would recommend though!

This computer has amazing start-up that allows you to get to work instantly. The display is well done and the computer is very easy to use. The only downside is S mode for Windows 10, but that can be disabled.

This pc seems to do everything I need it to do. The case seems somewhat cheap as it is all plastic. I would have expected it to be a little more robust to take some abuse, but hopefully it will hold up over time. I am used to laptops with metal cases that I use at work.

I really like this laptop. I have had few issues with start up at times. The screen quality is excellent and I really like the large screen. So far I have had no problems with operating system or the programs. I have always used HP so this laptop is my first choice. ]

Great laptop, I got it for my Stepdad, who is 75. He has no issues working the laptop, it's light, user friendly, and has great battery life. Clear camera, smooth and fast processor, great for anyone trying to have high quality without paying too much!

It's brand new and I expected to like it more than I do. It does not hold a charge very long at all. I've always had high regard for HP products, but for the price I paid for this, I'm just having a harder time getting used to it than I've had on new computers before.

I set it up myself, without help from Best Buy other their online loading of Webroot. I’ve had the laptop about 3 weeks, and it’s fast, plenty of memory and hard drive. It’ll be a replacement for an HP desktop that I’ve had for 7 or 8 years and is still running well.

The inside of this computer is great for the price, the monitor size of 17" is great if you only use the laptop without adding additional monitors. The SSD and DDR4 is great, and if you are upgrading you will love it. My beef with this computer is the case. It has already cracked near the touch pad, one corner has a big crack from my leaning an elbow on it. Happened the first time I used it. The hinges are almost shot, it doesn't close properly you have to push on it to get it shut. I have had 3 somewhat cheap HP laptops over the years and this case is the absolute worst I have ever seen on any laptop. I won't buy another one now. On to better quality items.

I did a lot of homework when it came to looking a new laptop. Everything that I was looking for was in this laptop. Amazing laptop, works great, large screen size and have excellent storage. I have not got the chance to use the camera yet but I will very soon.

This was a replacement for my mother's 7 year old laptop. She was amazed with the speed difference booting up from the SSD. Setup was easy enough to talk her through by phone from across the country, but as usual had some bloat software and reminders to uninstall.

Very pleased. Fast boot up and load. Impressive battery life. Very light with wonderfully large keyboard. Us of advanced age appreciate the large keys and screen. Have found nothing I’m disappointed in. Recommend highly for those seeking dependable home use laptop.
