It worked for what we needed at the time (a first grader and light web based work). Not much memory, video quality, or speed to it.

Don’t buy this. It was okay for my daughter to zoom during 2020 but not good for anything else. Very slow, we like to play the sims at my house and it lags so bad and takes around 10-15mins to load

I bought this because I need a cheap computer that I could download online classes material to. You get what you pay for! I have high speed wifi that my chromebook laptop was connected to, and it loaded web pages in a blink of an eye! It takes about 20 to 30 seconds to load a basic web page. Communication with my printer takes about the same amount of time. This computer is like the one I owned in 1999. Its unbelievably SLOW!!! Not a bad computer, if you are very patient hahaha!!

I guess it depends on what you need it for...for basic use and basic surfing its ok...but anything more...its just too slow. Its pretty, it does what it needs to. The price was right and I needed something fast to transition to working from home because of Covid...so it met the basic needs, but I'd pony up more money and get something better if I needed it for more.

It is a good computer to use for the basic stuff, has excellent sound quality. If Microsoft updated the software by itself in a timely manner, that would be great. The speed is just okay.

I bought this for my dad since all he does is watch YouTube and surf the web. He does not need any special programs besides basic web browsing and this thing can’t even handle that. It’s been 4 months and it will now randomly shut off and restart itself. It also gives a very generic message saying that there was an issue. HP’s tech support ran all sorts of diagnostics but it’s not a hardware issue, it’s software. Coincidentally enough software expired 90 days of purchase. Pages load extremely slow even though we are hard wired. Completely over this hunk of junk.

Basically a nice machine but it needs a better monitor. Major problem I had is with the people at BestBuy, Who made fun of me for getting such a slow machine. Little did they know it was not for me, but a gift for someone who reads recipes on line. Boo boo best buy

Price and space saver are ok, to be the 1st computer of a little kid but it is soooo slowww!!! Last time it took almost 30 minutes to start! its driving me crazy.

There were some problems with it failing to start up or boot when we first got it that I was able to resolve. Over all it was slow and annoying to use event for simple tasks like pay bills online. It was alright for the kids to use because they don't know good computers don't normally lag that much. Then one day it started beeping loudly when we started it up and according to HP it is related to a hardware power issue that will be expensive to fix. It lasted 2 years and it was not that great I would not recommend this computer.
