Had to return the pc to HP due to the mother board being bad. They said it would take 5-7 days to fix and return. Seems like a better option could have been offered.

This computer is exactly what I needed for the specific reason I bought it, and nothing more. Good hard drive, acceptable performance for web browsing, and that is it.

Very east set up, but Windows 8 tutorial could be much better, as it is a major difference from Windows 7. Have had no problems nor needed any reboots in about 2 months of use. Detaching from keyboard a catchy concept but don't use it much at all.

I've had many different laptops over the Past years. Probably 10+ and all the different names available. While I can't say that HP has been my favorite in the past, I can say now that this is my new favorite!!! Love Love Love it!!!

Was highly upset at how slow this computer was. Did not work well with more than one program open and touch screen froze constantly. Exchanged it for the same model and had the same problems. I have excellent internet and have never had any issues with any other computers but this computer just took forever to load internet pages.

I bought this for my mom who is over 60 and she absolutely loves it. I had to teach her Windows 8 but otherwise she has had no problem using it. She calls it her baby like I do my own laptop. So yes, I would recommend this product to others.

Between the intiatial start and subsequent replacement of mother board we are still unable to use and must return to store again to get get them to fix/ replace it.

After about three weeks of having this computer, I went to get on the computer and the screen would not come on. I tried turning it on while it was plugged into the charger and I tried turning it on while it was not on the charger and it never came on. So now I have a $500 computer that does not work. I went to Best Buy to see what they could do to help me and they told me they couldn't do anything because it was past 15 days. So I ended up having to call HP and sending the computer off to them for them to try and fix it. So now I have a brand new computer that I have to send off for repairs. It's absolutely ridiculous!! I would not recommend anyone buying this computer!

Having a little difficulty getting used to the 8.1 operating system. Fortunately an IT person at work is able to guide me through the system. Really like the size, weight, and the screen can be detached and becomes a tablet.

Got for my student and its lightweight and easy for her to carry. She loves that it goes from laptop to a tablet with just a snap, and because its windows format, her work is automatically transferred to the desktop at home.

It felt very cheap. Every time I typed on the keyboard, it was quite loud and you could ell that it was made of plastic. The time it took from pushing the on button to the computer being ready to function also took much longer than anticipated. The entire laptop (exterior, keyboard, and screen area easily allows fingerprint smudges. After typing to cope with these negatives, I ended up returning this laptop for one that was a little more expensive without all of these issues.
