The computer works well, but it's Wi-Fi reception was inadequate at my office. Other computers in my office worked in all areas of my office, but this computer disconnected from the internet unless it was a few feet away my wireless router.

Stay away from this machine. Out of the box it had problems staying connected to the internet via wireless regardless of how close to the wireless router the machine was located. A google scan of this problem shows that there are no real solutions, other than buying an external wireless adapter, and most people who experienced the problem have returned their machines. I've had the machine for 40 days and am currently resetting all Windows settings to default in hope that it will fix the problem. If not, back to Best Buy I go.

I owned this computer for only a day, even though I loved it. It's easy to use, the keyboard was comfortable for my fat fingers, and I loved how the top split off of the bottom....SO easy to just grab it and take it to the sofa to surf the internet. The reason I returned it was because it turned out to be incompatible with the HP Active Pen stylus, even though the stylus worked just fine on the store models at my TWO neighborhood Best Buys. After much confusion and trying to figure out why the stylus wouldn't work, it turned out that the store models at Best Buy were set up in a way that does NOT match what HP actually ships in its computers. I even tried to buy a floor model (because I specifically wanted to use the stylus), but they told me they couldn't because it wasn't actually a fully functional machine. So, if you want to use the Active Stylus on this machine, you won't be able to (even though you can on the floor model). (Please note that it DID work with a regular capacitative stylus, but the precision was lacking for my needs.) I did have one other small complaint that had nothing to do with the lack of stylus compatibility.....when you remove the tablet from the keyboard, you tend to carry it someplace else and go surf. When I was done surfing, I didn't want to get back up and walk across the room to wherever the dock was. So I would just leave it sitting on the coffee table or wherever. I know it sounds lazy, but it's something to consider if you're worried about spilling something on it, or worried about the docking components getting damaged somehow (or also if you need to keep it charged at all times).

Very powerful tablet or good computer when you need it to be.
