i bought this item from best buy and when i turned it on the first time i had to keep pressing the power button because it would not turn on. i went back to best buy to exchange the item for the same but tested out the power button on the display in the store. me nor the best buy agent could get either to turn on right away this product seems to have a glitch

This computer I would not recommend to anyone looking for a fast computer, this is more for starter computer for teenagers.

Pros: The price was good & the product delivery was outstanding! Cons: The refurb unit I received was defective. The touch screen barely responded to anything. That made it impossible to do anything after the screen was detached as a tablet. Second, the installed OS was a DEMO version. It would seem that nobody performed ANY QA testing on the laptop prior to be boxed up. I will give props to the Best Buy store. They took it back and refunded my purchase price, no questions asked.

I originally went in to just get a simple laptop as I was basically using it for online classes and some social networking. My mind was going back and forth from just that, the surface 3 or an ipad mini. Having had 2 big laptops previously I really wanted something small and light. For the days when I wanted to chill at a B&N or a Starbucks something like an ipad or surface 3 was ideal. After talking to family members I decided on just getting a 2 in 1 laptop. Walking into Best Buy I knew I was going to be in and out as I always do tons of research on such a pricey item. Looking at my price range and what the 2 in 1's were priced I thought that this would be great. I loved that it detached like the surface but it had way bigger hard drive which ended up being the deciding factor in my purchase. After adding the insurance and Office 365 I went a little over budget (more like way over budget) I was super happy walking out. When I got home to set it up I noticed immediately how heavy it was. I thought while carrying it to the car it was heavy but I thought it was cause of the keyboard or maybe the charger. The set up was super easy and it download the latest windows immediately so that was a plus. I didn't care for windows 8 and the laptop I previously had still had windows 7. After setting up and personalizing (which is of course my favorite part :p) I installed the basic stuff which was fast compared to my old laptop. Charged it after for maybe an hour to eat dinner I began doing some light internet surfing and some assignments for school. After being on for maybe 2 hours or so unplugged my battery was already at the half way mark. I did however watch at least 15 3 min videos for a class and some other stuff. In my opinion I'm really not to sure what to rate the battery. Some with great computer knowledge may say that it's bad. Me however I am NOT computer savy lol. I say it's something that I'm used to. My old laptop had to be plugged in constantly cause the battery drained within 20 mins just from being on. Main point of this review is it's SO heavy!!. I thought it would be light since it is a 2 in 1! I've only had it for half a day so I'll come back in a week to give a better review.

Bought it online. Set it up on a Saturday evening and when I woke up on Sunday it wouldn't even boot up. For the couple hour it did work, it seemed too heavy and impractical to use as a tablet. This was my second HP product that was basically junk, so I will be avoiding their products in the future. Took it back and got an ASUS laptop instead, which has worked great.

This is the second one I got. The first one had black lines that went across the screen. This one the touchscreen doesn't work some of the time. Am going to see if I can Trade for a different computer.

Bought this brand new thinking it could work as a tablet and a laptop but found out that it was not the best thing, it didnt work right out of the box and the feel of the laptop part was off, it was top heavy which means you could really use it as a LAPTOP

The built in network card goes offline randomly. I am returning this computer . I do NOT recommend this computer or any Best Buy open box computers. I have had to return multiple open box systems.

Dont waste ur money, i sent it bac to HP 4x in rhe first yr, i brought 2 of these, one yr later 1 on the computers went blank n never worked again, I think there refurbished Laptop, I had trouble from rh8w 1st month.

I needed a smaller more up to date laptop from my Dell which was dying a slow death. I was trying to stay around $500 range and wanted the tablet option so this one fit the bill. I do like that I can remove the keyboard base and have the touch screen option. The only negative is that it's still heavier than I really wanted. I could have spent more for a lighter machine but this was a good choice to transition too from my clunky Dell which was several years old.

I had to return it for another laptop after the screen on the 1st one locked up and the 2nd just zonked out.

Donot buy this garbage. I bought it and second day it stopped working. Computer doesn't poweron at any cost. Don't buy
