I purchased the HP - 2-in-1 13.3" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i3 - 4GB Memory - 500GB as a gift for my wife. She likes the ability to separate the screen from the keyboard. Definitely a good buy for the dollar!

I jist purchased this computer and I am in love with it. It is really nice to detach it and the touch screen is going to be a neccessity for the rest of my life. I have onoy found a couple things not perfect. When the computer is on sleep mode, when you hit the power button to wake it up, it takes a while to awake. Also, I had a scare and thought my mouse (on the base) was broken and then I realized that I was using my wrist to keep it in place and I was pushing too hard. The bottom was stretched and didn't allow me to click. All in all, I would definitely buy this again.

This computer is not for serious computer users, but works very well for checking email, facebook, card games and word processing. The tablet removal makes it great for setting on your lap and playing "light weight" games while watching TV. It suffers from short battery life as do all electronics from phones to cameras, laptops and tablets.

Got this as a birthday gift for myself and I am enjoying it thus far. The resolution is wonderful and sound is good. The battery life leaves something to be desired and I feel like the Home feature in desktop mode takes too long to load initially. Overall, for the price this is not a bad little machine.

I have had this computer for about a year and it has slowly gone from I love it to I like it to finally wow this computer sucks. Within the first week it started to slow down. After about a few months I would have to hold the turn on button for about a minute then wait five more minutes for it to boot up. If your still in school u no what I mean. With things slowing down it comes with other problems like once u detach it you have to take it on and off a few times just so that way a tablet part to connect with the keyboard. When I got this laptop it was around $700 and now it's around $300 that just proves how bad this laptop is. I hope this helped you decide if u want this laptop.

    Good Buy for the Money

Starts as fast with the 500 gig hybrid drive as the 128Gig SSD version. Timed them in the store. Screen definition is high enough and I do not find the computer to be slow at all. My primary use is surfing the web and photo editing. I enjoy the 13.3" screen, larger than the 11" but smaller than the 15.6". I can get about 3.5 hours out of the battery which is not great but not bad with the screen brightness up high. I like the idea of having a keyboard when I have to type long docs. I expected more from the Beats Audio but a 30 dollar Jam Box works just fine. Not sorry I purchased this model and would buy it again.

It's a quite good laptop but not a great one.

This laptop is what I was looking for. I mainly use it for school and i can say it does its job. It's a pretty fast computer but it has a really short battery life so I wouldn't reccomend this if using for business or travel. Also it often crashes; the whole system stop and i have to restart the whole computer by closng everything I had opened without a chance to save them. However it is really easy to carry along with you and it has plenty of storage.

    Piece of junk!

I hate this worthless computer! I would LOVE to smash it into little tiny pieces. It worked for the first few months. The detachable keyboard is just a novelty. It is way too heavy as a tablet and whenever you want to type something you have to swipe for the keyboard to come up (even though you just selected a field to type in to). A few months after purchasing "one of my worst purchases ever" my keyboard would sporadically stop working. I took it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy and they sent it out to Kentucky to "get fixed". APPARENTLY, they fixed the connections on the keyboard and I had a VERY limited warranty on this. Of course now it has stopped working again and Best Buy wants me to pay to get it "fixed" again and of course, so does HP. I need my computer to run my business and do not have the time to keep sending my computer out for weeks at a time, nor do I have the time to work on it daily in tablet form. Now it just continues to make that annoying windows ding noise like its detaching and reattaching from the keyboard. But its not. Long story short, this laptop is a piece of junk (and a bunch of other words that I usually call it, but cannot put into a review) and you'd be crazy to waste your money on it. And I'm sorry to my husband who tried to tell me that this would be a bad purchase. You were right.

Bought this to use for sales presentations and to have customers sign our agreements right on the screen. Love that I can take the tablet part right off and give it to a customer to sign like paper. Others reviewers said it was too slow, I don't see that at all. I love how fast it wakes up from sleep, much faster than my Asus. It does seem pretty heavy for it's size but I guess the more expensive ones would be lighter. For $550 it's the perfect solution for work.

Decent laptop 2in1 for the price

I've had this only 2 days, and am happy with it so far. I'm concerned about the mechanism between the tablet top and the keyboard bottom as it seems there is a lot of stress on the hinge and tabs into the tablet half, but i'll keep an eye on that. I indicated only four stars for two reasons: wifi strength and battery life. Wifi seems to be a bit weak in my standard spot in the house but its nothing that affects the performance of the Internet at all. Battery life at my initial drain went fast, but I had bluetooth/wifi and the screen turned all the way up. I've since turned off bluetooth and dropped the screen and the drain seems to have lessened. Overall, I'm happy so far. I originally wanted to get a Surface Pro 3 Core i3, but just couldn't bring myself to purchase something so expensive. I've had HP in the past and never had problems, so I'm hoping I'm not disappointed.

Worst computer ever! I just bought it and I just want my money back. It's super heavy and super slow, it takes for ever to open apps, especially Netflix. Also when you try to open web site it really slow. Touchscreen isn't that's cool.
