This chromebook is excellent. I absolutely love it.

What you aren’t told before you buy a chrome book is that you can only add apps from the google play store to your device. You can’t download programs from the internet and thus many websites (especially for work) can’t be used with this device. Not Best Buy’s fault, but want others to know before they get duped out of money like I did. Best Buy did have it at a GREAT price and you get “free” antivirus with purchase. What you don’t realize is that if you want to return your item you will not get the full price paid back because you can’t return your “free” antivirus.

Still getting use to the operation, but I do like it.

Not to bad for the price of a new chromebook.My issue with it is its top heavy and has a light weight frame so it causes the screen to move when its being hand held and the lighting could've been brighter but over all a good computer

The chromebook is OK. But it’s a android tablet, not a computer or laptop. You can’t run the same programs as you do on a laptop the same way. Plus I have all IOS products and now I have 1 android device that I can’t use with the rest of my devices.

it took me a while to give my review because i was truly not satisfy with my purchase. i bought this laptop of impulse since i was going to start school, shortly i realize is not what i had in mind. it just i kind find everything i am looking for.

Bought this for my kids to use for school so they wouldn’t have to share their school issues one and so I could use it for casual use. Thought I was getting a better version of what the school offered. The coloring was so bad-had a gray tint to everything and not true color. Tried everything to fix it. Ended up exchanging it because I thought it was a lemon but the newly shipped one was the same thing. Went into Best Buy so I could see them on display and turns out all of their less expensive ones (besides the smallest one) did this same thing. Maybe some don’t care about that, but when I’m trying to shop online for furniture or pick out paint colors, this was not helpful.

The computer is fine but the free webroot that came with the system isn't compatible with a chromebook when i tried to install it and that's one reason I was willing to get this laptop. Its a chromebook so it's ok for what it is.

However had it for 3 weeks and it completely quit working-would not power on-Best Buy did let me return it and putting that money towards getting an actual Laptop instead. It did load fast and my daughter had no problems playing games on it

It's a good computer. A little slow because it's a low GB. Wish I could of done my research on Chrome laptops. If you don't have internet it's not the computer for you. Uses a lot of internet and when using zoom it freezes up a lot.

I previously had the same school issued chromebook for 6 years and it worked perfectly fine every year! Therefore I decided to buy another chromebook (this one) and its incredible, BUT after a month and a half the screen turns white and is unresponsive whenever I get off a tab then come back to it. Also when I connect my airpods to it, the sound is choppy. If it wasn't for these 2 factors defects, I would rate 5/5 stars. Love everything else about it.

After breaking my laptop, I needed a cheaper alternative by going back to a basic chromebook. This Chromebook is the slowest piece of technology I have ever used. I wasn't doing anything more than basic internet browsing and writing documents for school. I didnt mess with any high performance stuff such as gaming, photo editing, or video editing. When trying to highlight a document, the entire system would freeze up for a solid 10 seconds and then show me the document only half highlighted. Saving things to the device and then trying to send them out in an email takes 10 minutes for the computer to recognize a saved document. Overall the computer feels cheaply made and is not a great product.

This is a great chromebook, for the price. I personally exchanged this product for something different since it did not have the keyboard back lighting and the hinges did not always hold up the screen at odd angles.

Not sure yet bought in december and already having to take it to get repaired and its february.. it will not turn on or charge.

It’s okay. Doesn’t have a caps button and once you’re logged into google you cannot add another gmail on that same user. Is kind of flimsy though. Overall it gets the job done.

I WASN'T TO HAPPY WITH THIS CHROMEBOOK AND FOR THE PRICE YOUR BETTER OFF JUST GETTING A REGULAR LAPTOP EVEN IF IT'S FOR A KID THE QUALITY WAS OK NOTHING TO BRAG ABOUT BUT IT HAS A VERY SHORT WIFI SPAND

Great laptop but 6 months in and the motherboard was done. It’s my son’s laptop that he uses mostly for school. Sucked to have had to bring it for repair so early on.

I bought two for my each of my grandsons since they were remote learning. They worked great and were easy to set up. They looked great and functioned well until about 3 weeks before the warranty expired (1 yr). The Chromebook wouldn't turn on or charge. After doing research, that seemed to be a common problem for HP Chromebooks. HP took care of the issue but I paid $25 to expedite the process since it was used for school. It functions well but I'd not buy another HP Chromebook w/o doing some deeper research.
