Dont know if i am unlucky or the origin of the products that you guys get has changed over the years, My last two purchases: a Nintento Switch and a 55 inch TCL TV both broke 2 or 3 months after buying them and of course the warranty was done. I understand that it is recommended to extend the warranty but for these two "big" purchases to both be obsolete after 14 months just does not make me trust buying stuff again. I placed the word big under quotations because this may not seem to be a big purchase to the many, but it is to my household.

I purchased two of these chromebooks for my child’s virtual learning. The laptop only lasted one of them less than 1 week. I exchanged this product twice and each time the product lasted less than a week. The first time the device keyboard stop working on the right side of the keyboard. The second time the laptop would not turn on. Lately, the other laptop camera is flicking works when it want too.. I don’t recommend purchasing this product unless you purchase a warranty and/ or want to continue visiting Best Buy Geek Squad frequently.

For general browsing the internet this is an OK machine. However I purchased it to use for Zoom meetings. It may not be fair to compare it with a Pixelbook but my Pixelbook never drops a meeting because of WiFi issues. Even my phone works better. During a 30 minute meeting I get multiple warnings that there is a WiFi issue. Sometimes it just kills the app completely, other times its just an interruption or frozen images. Had I not held it for a Christmas gift I would have had ample time to realize that it needs to be returned.

I can’t download certain things for testing purposes. My Son was trying to take a entry exam and the computer wouldn’t allow the software to download in order for him to take the test.

Great product! Love the touch screen, long lasting battery, and ease of use.

I loved how the chromebook worked while it was functional but after two months, it kept shutting down automatically in the middle of typing. Then I did a hard reset, then a factory reset, and now the thing won't boot up at all. Lame. Very disappointed.

I was not a fan of this at all. I purchased it for my son since it’s what they used in school, but after setting him up with a Gmail account, it was near impossible to get him connected to his school activities since they were thru his school email. It would not allow ‘two users’. Also, there is no side number keypad on these so it was more cumbersome for him to do online math assignments. It’s also already broken and we will not be purchasing another chromebook.

Works okay. You get what you pay for. Sent it in for a diagnosis and now they are issuing a replacement.

I purchased this unit for my 16 year old daughter. She was able to use it for 3 months when the screen cracked while she was opening it. The screen is extremely flimsy. I sent into HP who called her opening the Chromebook and the screen cracking “Accidental” and they would not cover. They then offered for me to pay them $80 more than I paid for the entire unit to repair. I will not be purchasing any HP products in the future.

I recently went inside the store and got my lab top and its already glitching.I can't watch movies or anything. It might black out on me.

Probably good for what it was made for, but It's not what I needed. Best buy made it good by replacing it for a lap top with memory.

Can't really rate the product considering I've been unable to use it for less than 20 hours and have owned it for over a month now. In less than 3 weeks of owning the product, charging port no longer worked and Geek Squad had to send it in. Because I didn't report it within 14 days, I was not able to get a new one and it had to be sent off to be fixed. RIDICULOUS!!!! Glad Wal-Mart had one in stock so that I could finish my class work in time.

I am very displeased with the chrome book platform, it only good for searching the web and can’t support any downloads. I will be returning it today.

It’s okay if you’re used to using Samsung devices. I personally didn’t like it and it was to small and simple for me.

Don't waste your time on this. It arrived with a dirty keyboard even though it's supposed to be brand new. The screen quality is horrible. The contrast and definition is dark and very poor quality. The colors and screen appear to be faded out. This is no more than a $199 laptop at best, suitable only for young kids using this for google classroom to do basic school work. Very unhappy and unimpressed with this unit.

Picture quality not so great. It is grainy and hurts my eyes. I exchanged it for another laptop with better resolution.

I plugged it in charged it for a couple of hours and when I went to open it there was a 2x2 discoloration mark on the corner of the laptop. Returned the item right away, so I didnt get to use it.

Owned less than 60 days and it won't turn on. It was working, froze, Turned it off and now it won't come back on.

Thinking about returning it. It does weird things like dropping pages.

The antivirus included in the purchase was not compatible with the product. I’ve been on the line talking to few representatives to give me a compatible antivirus for the chromebook but they were all transferred me to different departments. And guess what, it was ended up for nothing. What a waste of time. I really dont know why they have a promotion that is no use for a product you purchased. Rip!
