This is a great laptop for someone who just requires light daily use like paying bills, checking emails, etc. I purchased it to replace my desktop that was getting old and slow. It does all of the tasks I need quickly. I like the touch screen function. I tend to use it interchangeably with the touch pad.

Great computer for the price. I like the versatility of the 2-in-1. Good size screen for a chromebook with an otherwise small profile. It is nice and sleek and the ceramic white is sharp looking. Though I'm still getting used to the Chrome OS and android based apps, as I have always been a Windows OS user.

Very satisfied with this Best Buy Open Box chromebook. Needed a laptop quick and this HP had all the features I was looking for (quality brand, touchscreen, compact) and the price was great. Delivery was fast as well. I appreciate the confidence Best Buy provides it's customers in every product they sell.

This is the first Chromebook I have ever owned, and it is a little different experience that I am used to with a standard laptop. However, for what I am using it for, it will be more than adequate once I iron out some of the perceived deficiencies it has. The touch screen is responsive and the picture quality is good. The mousepad is a little different in that there are no "buttons" and apparently no "right-click" option. If you click on either side of the mouse pad it treats it as a standard click. I haven't researched it, but it seems the only way to get a right-click menu is to use the touch screen and long press what you are trying to open up. Not having the time displayed anywhere on the screen is a little frustrating as well, but again, this can likely be remedied with a little research. I haven't played around on it much, other than to do some basic browsing and check out some of the other cool features like the full swing display, making it a very large tablet.

This laptop is ergonomic and fast. It can be used as a tablet by folding it backward. The keyboard and webcam are top notch. The battery is long lasting so there's no need for constant charging like older laptop. Light weight design. Perfect for college students. I highly recommend buying one.

I needed to get a lap top once we were to work from home and I needed one fast. This Chromebook did the trick and I love it. It's easy to use, packs slim and works well. I use it all the time even though we're back in the office now.

I purchased this laptop to use for my insurance business to help enroll clients. It is very manageable, user-friendly and lightweight. I enjoy the touch screen A LOT. It makes navigating without a mouse a breeze. Would buy again and again.

I'm a Windows and IOS user, this is my first Chromebook, I purcharse this for school distance learning. But this is SOO FAST!!! and beacuse I'm a google user it's perfect for me... I buy this for my dauthers but I think I will buy another for me. Just open and work! Amazing!

The touchscreen makes things much simpler for a kid to run, and folding the top back disables the keyboard and automatically puts the thing in voice dictation mode, which my son has learned to love. Still more a fancy middle school-level computer than anything else but great for that purpose.

I needed a new computer and decided to try to go with the open box from Geek Squad. I have no regrets with my decision. This computer is touch screen and looks brand new. It's fast and I am able to easily navigate. I use it for work and so far, so good. Kendal B.

Lightweight and powerful computer with a large touchscreen monitor. My school age son is the primary user of this Chromebook for his homework assignments. He also enjoys watching a lot of videos. Impressive color and sound. I highly recommend this Chromebook for ease of use and quality.

This is a basic Chromebook for casual users. The screen resolution is not high, but good enough for Internet browsing. The battery can last a whole day for light usage. Speed is pretty good. Overall, it is a very practical computer for students.

This is a replacement for our last laptop, which was about 9 years old. The HP was easy to set up, runs smooth and is working great. Highly recommend if you are just using it for home office type stuff and browsing the internets.

The screen is very big and and having the option of a laptop or tablet is amazing. The touchscreen is a great feature and the white and silver color of the laptop compliment each other. The battery life on this laptop lasts quite awhile. This laptop is a good investment.

It's good for what it is--was something of an impulse buy over Cyber Monday deals as I needed a remote laptop for work in a pinch. Definitely do your homework on Chromebooks vs. more traditional PCs. There are a few sites/browser extensions required for my work that do not work with this Chromebook, and then just some silly things to get used to; like alt+click for right click since there isn't one, and a Google Search key in place of where a Caps Lock would be on any other keyboard. The touch function is nice, and the ability to use as a tablet is a bonus...but after a couple months of use the screen does tend to fall back a little easier than it initially did if left angled that direction, and I'll find it just lying flat out on the table. Fine buy for what it is, just make sure you know the differences between Chromebook and others better than I did before you buy!

I give it 4 stars because overall it’s been a great computer for me. But it cannot be use for any at home jobs.What I like most about my chrome book you don’t have to purchase an antivirus yearly.

I’m enjoying my new chrome book & still learning new things on the chrome book, I like the fact that it’s a touch screen or I can just use the mouse. It easy to use oh and I haven’t had to use the screen where it flips which is very cool!

I bought this chromebook for my daughter coming out of public school into homeschooling and was used to using chromebooks. She's a junior in high school. She set it up easily and has had no problems with it. Great value for the money!

I got the chromebook and was happy when it started when I open the lid!?! I am a 69 year old woman who uses a flip phone and only uses a computer for email google , news,weather, sports, games, you tube pictures, and now now with covid wanted to use zoom. My old toshiba is all but dead ! My newer Toshiba I let my nephew borrow and it never made its way back ! I did not want to get a computer without picking it out in person but as I said I had little choice. My sister had to order the HP for me as I do not wven know how to do that !?! The 1st night all was fine I was on the computer for 20-30 minutes. I was not too happy as I had to put in gmail ( I have email with a verizon address and this is with a google account on my toshiba ????? when I tried to change I ended up having two gmail addresses ???? That is beside the point. I went to bed The next day I went and signed in no problem BUT THEN IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER IT ASKED ME TO RESTORE PAGES i tried as I always did on any other computer. Nothing happened. It said I had turned the computer off incorrectly !?! The screen went on/off every 5-8 seconds. (not enough time to do anything). I type very slowly. If you call Best Buy they try to walk you through No WAY Can Not READ or TYPE that Fast Then No Smart Phone I was on Phone Waiting hours (getting cut off) 2-3 , 5 even 6 hours one day !!!!!! It took me 2 weeks to get a PERSON to talk to and make an appointment !!!!!!! Yes, I pushed call back but that discnnected and that was after waiting hours!!!!!! Not Fun Yes I AM Patient. And the person I talked with reassured me I would be all set. Not True. He asked if I was afraid of the store and covid I said No I was okay. I could not have a geek member come to my apartment as they are not letting people enter where I live at this time. I was in my own home but not now so must go by the rules. I told the girl who waited on me what the problem was . She did not have me go to sign in screen??? She started changing all my passwords Then finally she brought up the chromebook sign in and asked for my password ,when I put it in she said it was incorrect !!! I said no it is not . I Know it is RIGHT I have been signing in every day or trying to and it works but it wants me to restore and says I shut it down wrong ????? The password is my mom's name and it was accepted so I KNOW it is CORRECT !!!!! AND it worked every day the screen just kept flashing???? Then she said I am so sorry but your time is up and you will have to make another appointment for July 9th or after if you need more time ? I said we did not get the 20 minutes nor did you solve the issue I came for ! She just that moment was kind of maybe realizing what I was there for!!!!! She was nice, kind, sweet, and very, cute but did not listen to me in the begining I had it all written down for her . (and a copy for me). I got very upset My nerves were shattered, I am usually very calm. Thank goodness the manager was nice and got a wonderful young man to strip the computer back to the start point (I think) !!!! I am hoping to find someone with a chromebook before July 9th. Awful to wait 6 weeks to use a new computer. I got this HP so I could do my Zumba and Pilates on Zoom Mondays - Fridays. For three months I have been making up my own work out schedule. I worked out six days a week 2- 5 hours a day (depending on the day) . I am still keeping active but zoom would make it easier. I am lucky I have the motivation. However, now I am motivated to get this new EASY ????? Chromebook working so I can Zoom Zumba, Pilates, Tap, Jazz, and do my aerobic dance . Everyone needs to be healthy especially during Covid. I do not like computers but lately it seems like it has become my best friend (well, WAS my best friend when my old computer worked okay (3 months ago) and the one day i used my chromebook for 20 minutes). I I am most certain I will Love it once it gets running and set up !!!! Best Buy was always GREAT in the past. They set up my computers for me an if I needed virus protection they helped me with that too. So I am sure if my agent had helped me today as they reassured me on the phone when I made the appointment and confirmed I would be delighted at this MOMENT!!!!!! I am sure I will be SOON ! I PRAY !!! ! know ! will !!!!!! Two more stars are coming I am a POSITIVE PERSON !!!! Take care and Be Safe !

Gf loves this laptop. I’ve actually never used it for more than a quick search of something. It’s simple to use and the touchscreen/ flip screen is pretty cool. The only thing that has sucked about this product so far is the fact that Chromebooks are not compatible with the Respondus app. The app is for people who have to take classes online. If you are a college student who has to take any type of exam, quiz, test, etc then I would avoid a chrome book altogether.
