I love the size of my Chromebook. It's easy to move around the house or to travel with. I like the ease of the keyboard which comfortably fits my hands. The Chromebook is fairly easy to learn. There is a learning curve from my Dell Laptop I used for years. Luckily, my son has been able to help me out when I've had questions. So far, everything I've needed or wanted to do has worked out good. No trouble going to sites or using apps. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great price for a powerful Chromebook. If you sit in on your lap, the fan can get a little warm and its a little heavier than I would like. Battery life is excellent. Performance is outstanding. Most of my concerns are with the Chrome OS and not the computer itself. There is a learning curve to switching from a tablet or phone using Android Pie to Chrome OS or from Windows to Chrome OS. One minor issue is the SD card doesn't fully insert and is easily bumped and undocked if you aren't careful.

Love the touch screen and that it can part switch to a tablet basically, it’s a perfect function especially when laying down watching show on it. The battery life is good, last quite a while when fully charged, also my old computer had to constantly stay plugged in cause the battery life was terrible so this is definitely an upgrade from that hunk of junk. Camera isn’t the best but I don’t use it often so no biggie. I feel I made a good investment and that this computer will last me a long time.

I must say chromebooks have come along way since their first release. I sampled them when they first came out, and did not like their design or their locked down experience since there was so little software available. Now its expaneded much much more, and microsoft has released its office suite for it as well, so I don't have to use gmail and 'sheets' for everything which totally sucks and pales in comparison. A great touch screen as well, and the battery life is great as well. I think I will look into a smaller second one as well.

After 2 missteps I've got the one I want for an MacBook Air replacement. My old Air was 5 years old, obviously slow but the straw was the 2nd battery was on its last legs. The new ones are more than I need and too expensive so the Chromebook journey began. It is fast, well balanced for sofa use and does all I need or want with the Chrome OS and PlayStore apps. AND it was on super sale. I cannot imagine a better laptop for email, browsing, streaming, etc. I doubt it would be up to gaming however.

I truly love this machine. The keyboard, the display, the screen size, the aesthetic, everything about it makes this Chromebook the perfect laptop. For my uses. Stadia gaming in a single tab, Tableau CRM, it's all right here and faster than ever. It's hard to believe how far Chromebooks have come, since my first Acer 11 in 2015. Thanks to the teams at Google & Linux for creating such a wonderful device.

Bought this Chromebook for my wife for her college classes. It has two USB 3.1 ports that you can use to charge the computer, which helps in it's charge time. My wife loves that it's not heavy and is has the touch screen. It took her a day or two to get use to it being a chromebook, she was use to laptops. Overall she loves it. We bought it a week before it went on sale and the salesman gave us the credit back on the difference we paid too!

We bought this for our son in fourth grade. In his words: This chromebook is intuitive and very fast processing speeds. SLim and sleek design. Nice big screen. Touch screen and keyboard is a great feature. I love how I can charge from either left or right side because there are ports on both sides. Long lasting battery as well! I highly recommend. From the parents: this was a great value. It exceeding our expectations.

My daughter was wanting a chromebook for school so I started researching. I was not familiar with chromebooks at all, but eventually decided on this model.. It is a great chrome book with plenty of RAM a decent sized screen and storage.. she has been using the past couple of weeks with no issues and could not be happier with it. If you are looking for a decent Chromebook, this one will do the trick!

Bought this with the intention of using it for a few of my small businesses and it is well worth what I paid for if! The touch screen capability in combination with super fast processor is excellent! Only drawback is that it only has one USB port, so I have to buy a USB hub to be able to hook up my external memory and a soundboard for recording simultaneously. I've been using Windows 10 for the last four years and I'm so happy to be on the Chromebook OS!

Prior to owning this laptop I owned a 2014 MacBook Air. Initially I was weary of switching over especially since I had Microsoft office on my MacBook. After making the switch I’ve never been happier! Google docs performs much nicer in my opinion than Microsoft word and it was easy to transfer all my old data! The touchscreen comes in handy as well in a number of situations! Overall an amazing laptop for the cost

I love my HP Chromebook. It's so easy to use. It's like having a large screen version of my phone (which I love to use). Price was great. Chromebook itself has excellent keyboard, camera and speakers for meetings. Love the blue and white color scheme. Also LOVE that it can be charged on either the right or left side of the device. This should be a standard feature on all computers. No complaints with this purchase!

I purchased this Chromebook as a Christmas gift and it was well-received. Very easy to use, easy to set up, good size, not heavy. My 9-year-old will be the one using it so he is very happy with it. I am on the fence regarding the built, while it does not look cheap, it does not look sturdy enough so I am concerned that it if drops it will be rendered useless.

This is a tough review bc there's a discrepancy between build quality (5 stars) and features/specs (3 stars). There's nothing to talk about when it comes to build. It's a tank, it's sturdy thanks to a (mostly) metal build, the keyboard is nice and clicky, the trackpad is excellent due to it being made of Gorilla Glass, the hinges are perfect, and the quality is reflected in its weight. It's admittedly a bit porky at 3 1/2 lbs. The features and specs are generally well-equipped with two big exceptions: For the price, I would expect a brighter screen and more storage. The screen is rated at 220 nits (I think), so I usually keep it all the up and sometimes would like a bit more brightness. Storage is 64GB eMMC. I would've liked to see 128 GB and even expect SSD instead of eMMC at this price. Other things: A big deal is often made about it having a fingerprint reader, but I haven't found it be incredibly useful. Another nit-picky item is that the micro SD card doesn't insert all the way, so by sticking out about 1/8 inch, it gets accidentally ejected all the time. I'm afraid I'm gonna lose it if I kept it inserted like I'd want to (so I don't). Wrap-up: Despite these flaws, I still think it's a solid 4 stars for one reason: at the end of the day, it'll do everything you'll expect it to do, the user experience is awesome compared to creaky, plastic-y Chromebooks, and you'll very much enjoy spending lots of time on it. P.S. I'm basing my lower Value Rating on the full retail price. At that price, there are better options. However, it often goes on sale - drastically. If it is, this Chromebook is a good value and a compelling purchase.

Christmas gift for my wife. What a solid, nicely crafted machine! It has the look and feel of a high-end laptop, and checks all the boxes: beautiful screen, big glass trackpad, tactile backlit keyboard, strong hinge, plenty of RAM, etc. My wife is notorious for having a dozen or more tabs open at once, and this Chromebook handles the load in stride. Really like the USB-C charging and SD slot, too.
