Fast as promised! Comes on quickly when you need to do something quickly now. It synchs to your other Android devices. I have a pixel phone. Everything is in both places. If you use Google products and online schedulers, banking, accounting etc...it's awesome! I am officially a Google geek.

This is my second Chromebook and this one just absolutely outperforms my old Samsung Chromebook. The display is just flawless, the touch screen is super responsive and the boot time is extremely quick. This Chromebook last for almost a full 13 hours with one charge which is true to spec. Completely recommend!

I like everything about this laptop except the screen and the hinges. Very good performance thanks to the i3 processor, excellent keyboard and trackpad, very good battery life and good overall build quality. The screen is quiet dim, higher resolution and color quality will be a big plus, in addition to stiffer hinges so the screen won't fall back easily. Still, for 399 this was an excellent deal!

I've had this Chromebook for a few days now and I must say I am quite impressed! I tried a Lenovo Chromebook about a year ago and while I like Chrome OS, it just didn't work out. Thankfully, my experience is much better this time! First off, the general feel of this Chromebook is premium. For those worried that this will feel sub-par, don't worry about it! The premium feeling affects all aspects of this Chromebook. From the display to the I/O, from the processor to the keyboard, this Chromebook is amazing. Some have complained that the display is not bright enough, but I personally haven't had any issues with this. The I/O is also amazing. Two USB-C ports, both of which can be used for data transfer and/or charging. One USB-A port (which is all you need really), a headphone jack, and an SD card reader. Next, the keyboard is AMAZING! This is the best keyboard I have typed out of the laptops I have personally owned. Being powered by a 8th-gen core i3 (dual-core) makes ALL tasks on this Chromebook run smooth as butter. I have a few Android apps downloaded, but no Linux apps. Finally, I would say if you're skeptical of buying a Chromebook check those worries at the door. This is an amazing Chromebook and has completely driven me from my Windows laptop.

I bought this laptop as a gift to replace my wife's Samsung Tablet. She is very pleased with the laptop and especially the 360 hinge feature which lets it convert to a tablet. She uses it primarily for Web browsing and in the kitchen to help with meal preparation. This laptop is very powerful and could be used as someone's main computer, but I find the small storage drive to be a limiting issue for this type of use.

I purchased this device for my 8 year old son. He is currently taking online classes and he loves his chrome book, touch screen is a plus and is super fast, a little difficulty setting it up, this is an apple house and all the restrictions and parental codes etc was a bit of a headache but after you are done this is a very well made, good sound and great graphic computer.

This Chromebook has an Intel Core i3 & enough RAM to run multiple apps, enough internal storage for Chrome/Android apps & Linux apps. And I added a 256 Gb MicroSD card for storage of music, document, etc. The Chromebook boots & shuts down fast... and has a long battery life. I can't think of anything that I don't like about this Chromebook!

This is a really snappy laptop. Chrome OS is a Linux based Operating System which means it's not a resource heavy as Windows or Mac OS, so the Intel i3 and 8gb of RAM will give you more than enough power to make this quick. The biggest downfall of Chrome OS is the inability to run Windows or Mac OS applications; however, you can run a great selection (not all) of apps from the Google Play Store... such as Adobe Lightroom CC for Android.

This Chromebook is the best Chromebook I have. It feels quality, looks quality, and performs better than most Chromebooks I have had in the past. It was worth the cost. The fingertip reader and light up keyboard were the newest features on any Chromebook. In addition, the Intel Core i3 makes a huge difference when it comes to the speed. Buy this if you are looking for a great Chromebook.

When I bought this online I don't think I understood the full limitations of a Chromebook. I've never been too picky so I took the chance of buying this online without seeing it in stores first. This was absolutely not the right fit for me and I ended up buying a standard laptop (also HP) within 3 months of purchasing this. For a little bit more money I got a much better device. Some qualms: - I was sold Microsoft Office as a package with this product and they aren't even compatible program. I spent money on a product I cannot use with this device because it was pitched as a package. - There is no delete button on the keyboard, which was a huge hassle as I do significant amounts of word processing. - App downloading and usage was not intuitive, and I could not use this for much more than browsing the web - I tried to sell the laptop back to Best Buy as part of their buyback/recycling program and they claimed it has no trade in value despite having been purchased only a few months prior. I think it says a lot about the quality of this device if Best Buy won't even buy it back Pros: it was compact, lightweight, and the 360 feature was cool even if I didn't really use it.

This is my first day with this Chromebook, but I am very, very impressed. I will update my review if anything changes over the next couple of months. The hardware is very nice, and Chrome OS has come a LONG way - I can now run most of my Android apps. As a bonus, I turned on Linux mode, and now have access to a REAL Spotify client and development tools like Visual Studio Code.

Purchased while on sale as a gift for an older family member. They were more susceptible to things like viruses and malware. With a retirement of meeting to access email, stocks, and old videos the Chromebook was a simple choice. This one is really quick and feels really solid even though it's very light. Really didn't take much to get them running with the instant setup and their existing gmail account. Very nice computer.

I absolutely love it and would not trade it for anything in the world. The versatility and fluidity of the product is the best. You can flip from laptop to tablet with no complications. It’s battery is hands down the best by far, I didn’t charge it for a week and it still had hours of battery life. The programs run smoothly and the speed to switch between applications is all awesome.

I LOVE this Chromebook. I've had many laptops in my school career, specifically HP, and this Chromebook far exceeds what I've had in the past. It's lightweight, has a touch screen, acts as a tablet (although, I don't often use it for that), and does everything I need it to do. I would buy this Chromebook time and time again if given the opportunity. I couldn't be more happy with it!

Wow!! This is the best value Chromebook ever imo. The Core i3 is fast. The HD screen is excellent from all angles. Quality Bang and Olufsen speakers. Fingerprint sensor for a quick unlock is a great surprise. I also love the fact that this awesome HP Chromebook offers a switch to close the camera. Looks great in mineral silver too. Well Done HP!!!! Nice new logo too by the way!!!!

Purchased with a pretty decent promotional sale in advance of my 1st grader doing remote learning during COVID. The machine was easy to setup, but I have a couple issues, only as it relates to the use by a very young child. First, there is a camera deactivation toggle switch on the left side of the unit. Took me about an hour to figure out why we couldn't be seen on zoom. Luckily, with enough searching on Google, I was able to see someone else had a similar issue and fixed it. I don't object to there being such a toggle, in fact I appreciate it. However, it just isn't in an intuitive spot, should simply flip the camera closed. Second, the fingerprint reader doesn't really seem to be useful with Google ChromeOS. I imagine this is a windows only feature. We set up the fingerprint reader, but it just doesn't seem to plug into the ChromeOS anywhere. They should deactivate it if it's meaningless and not sell this as a feature. Overall, it's a very well-made laptop, with features and configuration that many kids would benefit from on virtual learning. The webcam is above average compared to his peers in virtual learning and the touch screen helps him navigate through some of the platforms he uses. It's clearly not the best chromebook out there, but it would be ridiculous, in my opinion, to spend what some of the others cost on a web only laptop.

I purchased this Chromebook to replace an ancient one from college, and I'm really pleased at the performance. I didn't need a super high powered computer for my work, just something with decent cloud storage, tablet capability, and a nice screen display. The battery life is good, and the display is nice and bright & crisp. The white looks super sleek!

We have never owned a chromebook before so the functionality takes some getting used to and we aren’t there yet. But overall it is doing what we need it to do. Fairly easy to navigate and speed works well. Only real issue we have had thus far is connecting our chromebook compatible wireless mouse. The chromebook doesn’t recognize it and we know the mouse works and is supposed to be chromebook compatible.

Very happy with this purchase so far. Got it on sale for a little over $400 and my son loves it. The flexibility to use the touchscreen or function as a tablet has gone down very well. The screen quality and resolution is excellent, and so far the speed is great. Works for what he needs for school too. This is our first Chromebook purchase so look forward to seeing how speed and functionality hold up over time.
