Easy to use,great price, excellent service, and light

I like it. I enjoy the ease of using it. Runs a lot quicker than a Microsoft Windows operated system. Still learning and getting use to it but definitely better than wasting money on a Microsoft Windows based laptop. And cheaper too.

bought this for a granddaughter who needed it for school. Quick and easy set up and works great for her needs. I notice a lot more schools using Chrome rather than MS and I can see why. Easier and far less chance of virus problems. A plus when dealing with teens

This chrome book is perfect for students, or anyone looking for an amazing chrome book or laptop alternative. I bought it about a month ago for high school, and I’ve been amazed at how quick and powerful it is. For someone who just wants to use the internet and play simple games this is the perfect device. It can get most of the apps you would want on iOS, and a very nice screen. The touch screen ability is super useful as well. I have only one minor complaint and that is the fan which is a little loud but other than that this is everything I could have ever hoped for in a chrome book!

I purchased this for my 1st grader because the computer she began with didn't have the capabilities she needed. The touch screen makes it so easy to do her work and it's simple enough for her to follow. On her off time she is able to use it for fun and learning applications.

Wanted a long lasting chrome book for my daughter in middle school and this was the best choice. My daughter is really impressed with the touch screen and I am happy with the specifications of getting a intel processor and bought this for a good thanksgiving offer.

Bought 2 for our children to do online school. We and they are very pleased. My 1st grader loved the touch screen. My 4th grader notices the nice screen and the speed. I like its durability and generous screen size. It seems to be making online school a little better!

A solid Chromebook with upscale feel, this laptop is a few wide steps up from the bargain bin units. Good looking screen, lightweight, and USB-C for charging make it easy to live with. I prefer the taller display ratio of the Samsung units, but you won't have any gripes about this HD screen.

If you are looking for a full blown computer then go buy one - this is a Chromebook! Best features - 5 second max bootup, easy to use, use as a giant tablet if you'd like, and plenty of power / memory. Used as it is intended (to browse the web, look at emails, etc.) it is a great machine.

Recently purchased the new 2020 HP Chromebook to work from home while the family still uses the previous version of the same HP Chromebook purchased a couple years ago. So far, works great. Nowadays, having an 8GB device is important to keep multiple tabs open. Speakers sound much better than previous device. With notebook closed, it measures 12 5/8" x 8 1/16" x 5/8". Diagonal 15" across the top of the lid. Feels slightly heavier than the previous version, but still manageable. There's quite a few other competitors to choose with good specs, but purchasing this computer when on sale makes this one a pretty good deal.

I bought this for my son's online school. It has worked very well and is very fast and responsive. I set it up with a child login for him with parental controls. His school work site are easier to navigate with the touch screen. He also likes the finger print sensor.

Purchased for the kids for school work and Google Play-based gaming. While my Asus R13 does homework tasks well, it is lagging with the gaming apps from the Play Store. This HP chromebook with its i3 is smoother, but runs really hot and the fan is loud and constantly running -- even outside of Android gaming apps. Also, games like Roblox has jittery graphics. This machine shouldn't struggle like it does. Also, keyboard support is non-existent with gaming. The Asus R13 does keyboard gaming (like with Roblox), however, it struggles with the Play store games... one of the main reasons I bought a high-end Chromebook like this HP. Finally, the Chromebook kept disconnecting from the WiFi router using the AC protocol. While I switched to 2.4ghz, the frustration of the aforementioned issues had me packing up the computer before I had a chance to see if it kept disconnecting. I plan to return it. Needless to say, the kids were disappointed this Christmas morning.

Many other reviews already outline the specs of this machine, so I am not going to waste time on that. I absolutely love this computer now that I have it. The display is beautiful, the battery life is excellent (10-14 hours depending on what you are doing), and I can have 10+ tabs/apps open with little to no lag. There is a fan because the Core i3 processor will get hot but it is super quiet when it kicks on. ChromeOS is dead simple to set up, and I was up and running in less than 3 minutes after I took it out of the box. Once you have your Google account added, it takes 7 seconds for the computer to go from completely powered off to the login screen. Just incredible! I feel that 64 GB of memory is plenty, since there is a MicroSD slot if you want to add more, and your Google Drive will be linked once you login as well. I have 1 TB of storage on my Google Drive, so I have no concerns about storage. Because of the Core i3 processor + 8 GB RAM, this is a machine I know I can keep for hopefully 4-5 years before replacing. Currently, Google will be updating ChromeOS on this specific machine until June 2024. Additionally, the 14" display size is fantastic because this laptop remains portable while still having a nice screen. This machine feels luxurious/premium. It is made out of metal and ceramic and the keyboard feels so nice to type on. It is also backlit which is a nice detail. The touchscreen is responsive, but as a personal preference I really prefer using keyboards and touchpads for input, not touch screen. The touchpad is fantastic on this device as well! There is no active stylus available for this model. I paid $499 on sale for this, but I think it's worth the $599 sticker price, and it feels like a computer that someone would pay far more than $599 for. HP knocked it out of the park with this one. Buy it.

This is a great Chromebook that is very well made. This unit has a core i3 processor and 8 GB of RAM which allows it to be well suited to streaming movies and TV shows. It does not have an HDMI port though which would make life easier in certain operations.

This is the first Chromebook I have owned. It is light weight but offers heavy duty work to be done on it. I love to be able to take it anywhere I need to go and it doesn't weigh me down. I love this HP Chromebook. I would recommend this for everyone. The touch screen is a bonus.

As so long you realize you can not run window programs on this computer and some programs from google play are not compatible this is a great Chromebook it is fast easy to surf the net and connect to email and other social media. It will not replace your pc but is just what I needed. Battery life is good and the screen looks great.

This thing is great! Bought it to replace a $1200 laptop. I wasn't sure if it was for me. I have used the chrome browser instead of internet explorer for years. The store clerk said that they had a 15 day return policy so if I don't like it just return it no questions asked. Ok so I gave it a shot and I love this thing. So much faster and I am able to do almost everything. Learning how to use and get all the apps I need. Also I am transferring all the files and photos to a 256gb card and I am set. There is a learning curve to get comfortable with the switch to the chrome is but it's worth it to me. I recommend considering this machine.

Great machine! I purchased this as in upgrade from an old laptop, I mainly use for browsing so storage not a big issue, although the sd slot is a great feature. This has a beautiful display and the the touchscreen is very responsive. Very happy so far!

Having owned several Chromebooks, this model has several desirable features. First, I find it hard to beat Chromebooks for stability and features as long as you have an internet connection. And with virtually the entire library for mostly free Android (Google Play) apps running on Chromebooks, versatility is significantly enhanced. The touch screen is great as is the lighted keyboard. This model is a little heavier and larger than my other two 11.6 inch Acer and Asus models but the higher resolution screen (1920X1080) is worth the larger size. This Chromebook makes Apple products look over priced and underperforming. The Google ecosystem works seamlessly with your Android phones and desktops.

It’s a great laptop if you’re strictly work with google slides, docs, and anything else google related. Ideally not the best college or work laptop since Chromebook only supports chrome, not windows or apple.
