I am provided with a MacBook Air for work and have used it for personal use as well. However, there are naturally some sites blocked on the Mac because it is government-owned property. (I like streaming movies and ordering the occasional bottle of wine!) I treated myself to this amazing Chromebook for Christmas, and I could not be happier! I did a bunch of research to make sure I would get a device similar to the Mac, but at a much better price, and I got exactly that an more. It has a great picture for streaming, and the keyboard is nearly identical to what I'm used to.

I purchased this Chromebook almost two months ago. It is a solid Chromebook, not cheap plastic. The speakers are located on the sides of the keyboard which provides clear sound. I really like the ability to fold it over which allows me to use it like a tablet. It is a little bit heavier than a plastic Chromebook, but since it is not plastic that would explain it. Battery life is great and the fingerprint reader is a nice convenient way to log in without a password. I haven't found anything negative to say about it.

It's a very nice 2n1 Chromebook laptop! Fast boot up. Like the touch pad as well as the touch screen. Camera is adequate. All ports work well. Has fingerprint pad as well. I own android phone and tablet and wanted to try out the Chromebook. Was not disappointed!. Have not experienced any problems or hiccups at this time. Has apps for all of my productivity. I would recommend it to others.

I had not used a Chromebook recently, and decided to bite again. I did not want to spend a fortune. I watched and read reviews, and took a chance on this model, because it was the closest to what I was looking for and at very nice sale price. Boy, did I hit the sweet spot between price and performance! The core i3 8th Generation Intel processor and 8GB of memory allow me to do what I want to do, and quickly. Moreover, the battery life on this device feels feels infinite. Going all day on a single charge while playing and working is possible. I am not sure I have ever enjoyed any laptop with the battery life of this one. Yes, it does have a fan, but I was never bothered by noise when it kicked in. The full HD touchscreen was a pleasure to use. Yes, there are bezels on the top and bottom, but I found the image razor sharp and the color saturation excellent, exceeding my expectations. Oh, the Chromebook simplicity! I booted up, entered my Google credentials, and <BOOM> all my Android apps were loaded and ready to use, including my Office 365 apps. I had the simplicity and quickness of Chrome OS, and all the convenience of my familiar Windows apps, except I wasn't running Windows. Web browsing, streaming videos, office tasks, and email tasks are easily handled on this device. My Android Plex, Emby, HD Homerun, and Channels apps ran flawlessly. Performance seems at least equal to what I get on my Windows laptop. I love the looks of this HP. The keyboard is lighted, spacious, responsive and quiet in use. My only complaint is the weight. I would love for this HP to be lighter, but its usability and stamina more than make up for that shortcoming to me. It is perfect for my needs, and I highly recommend it.

Easy to use. Great resolution, light in weight and small enough to take anywhere without being too cumbersome, yet big enough to be more than a tablet.
