Lite, long battery life, easy for my Elementary aged son to navigate, wish it had more USBs. Would recommend however, and buy again

When this came up on sale, it was a bargain. Basically one of the best Chromebooks available. With 8GB ram and a new i3 processor. it does everything you need for productivity. My kid uses it for middle school. All the office apps work fine. Even Teams seems to work ok for her. If Google & Microsoft can continue to support each other and make the office 365 stuff work better on Chromebooks. This is a no brainer purchase. The fit and finish are as good as Macbooks or higher-end HP business class Laptops that costs 2-3x more.

I like this computer because it is easier for me to use and I can find what I want to faster. I like the touch screen option.

I bought this as an Open-Box, with a BIG dent on it, so I was a little concerned as to what I was getting. But, when I showed it to the kids and wife (with my 3 fingers over the dent), they all said, "are you sure that's a Chromebook, it looks way too nice." Maybe I'll just get a cover to go over the dent. Then bonus surprise, when I ran COG and chrome://system/, both confirm, I have a i5-8250U (2017), which is a year older chip than the advertised i3-8130 (2018), but the i5 far outperforms the advertised i3, so I'm pleased. Further, it seems that I'm running 2x 4gb of RAM at 2400 or 2667. Again, better than advertised. Then I noticed I was able to push the graphics one step beyond 1080. So, I'm even more impressed. I think I'm missing a little battery life with the bumps up in performance, but that's an acceptable trade off. Also, I tried my best, but could barely get the fans to run. I read the issues that others mentioned about the loud fans, but the fans on this one barely run, and are super quiet when they do run. And just curious, do others have 6 levels of backlit keyboard brightness? I checked the serial number on the HP website, and it indicates all the same specs as advertised, but I clearly have a Frankenstein Chromebook with a variety of different model components. (I'm guessing the factory was turning out the last of this model with whatever they had on hand or left over (just REALLY HOPE IT'S NOT USED PARTS) So, still not exactly sure what I have, but I thought I'd stack it against other laptops I have in the house for general usage tests (Web browsing, Youtube, Word Web-app, and Web based games). Without actual benchmark numbers, but only click and watch reaction times, this Frankenstein Chromebook beat my daughter's 2018 MacBook Pro, my 2019 Dell 5300 Latitude, my wife's 2020 Surface Laptop 3, and it kept pace with online gaming against my son's ASUS ROG M15 with constant 60fps! Now, as a Chromebook, it's not going to handle my bigger programs (Full Adobe product line, Cubase Pro, or my son's full featured games) but if I'm looking to buy a computer for on-the-go, regular-day productivity, I will never hesitate from this level of Chromebook. It's flat out amazing!

The laptop has been very good for daily family use. We use it to log in to the kids school district accounts for google classroom and for daily use for the family like internet browsing and what not. The battery life is pretty good and it charges very fast. The only disappointing thing is that I can't use it with google stadia, it isn't supported on the google play store. Also the adventure academy software crashes repeatedly, so we can't use that for the kids. Otherwise, I have been enjoying the laptop. I would not pay full price for this though, wait till it is on sale.

What an amazing machine. Great performance - much better than I expected. With a great battery life and the price paid it really is amazing value.

This laptop had everything but I was looking for in a laptop including being a 2 in 1 tablet and laptop good memeory ect. It was an HP which I liked and was the best priced in its class. I've had it now for about 6 months and it's holding up well the only thing I have noticed is that overtime the edges have become a little faded, however, being that I got it on sale for $299, marked down from $599, I can't complain

This Chromebook is simply amazing! I have always wanted to try out a Chromebook because I really like Google products. Unfortunately, they historically never looked or performed like higher end laptops. The design on this laptop intially caught my eye when I was at the store as it looks and feels like HP’s higher end laptops. It has a perfect amount of horsepower to handle the daily tasks I perform for my business. The only negative thing I can say is that the speakers could be better for having the B&O branding. For the price of this laptop you would struggle to find an all around better value.

I like my Chrome notebook. I did find the backspacing to delete letters confusing when my Desk top erases forward. It is also a Hewlitt-Packard computer. It makes it a little difficult to switch between them. But no big problem. The biggest problem was trying to figure out why when a new message notification popped up on the right side of the screen , the whole screen went blank and would not respond to launching the main page without signing back in after each new message. I brought my Notebook there three times. Each time a new form of "super washing(?) was used to to clear and start over again. Messenger was turned off on the Facebook app settings. But the same thing happened. On the fourth visit, I requested a new notebook since nothing seemed to resolve the problem. The manager even told me if it happened again I would get a new one. On the new one, I noticed there was a messenger app on Facebook already. On the other notebook I had started the Messenger app from the Google app store. I realized this was not necessary since it was a part of the Facebook app. I tested my theory by opening the Messenger app from the Google store with the one on Facebook and the same thing happened as with the first one. The second Messenger app was confusing the computer, I guess. Problem solved. Enjoying the convenience of my Notebook. The technicians were all very polite, helpful and gave the problem their best shot. The manager was very understanding and kind.

This is my 2nd Chromebook experience. My first was a much cheaper HP which only lasted a few weeks before I sold it off. I find I really enjoy this Chromebook. I'm often picking it up to use while I'm on the couch relaxing. Super lightweight and portable but substantial power keeps it quick. I especially enjoy the 360 screen and back lit keyboard. My only complaint is that it is incredibly thin/weak underneath the track pad so I find that I am often clicking when I don't want to just from it resting on my lap, suspended without direct support underneath.

Nice display. Good buy. It was what I was looking for in a chromebook. The size was the one I was looking for. The computer itself was not heavy.

I love this light weight, easy to carry and use Chromebook. So easy to take and use anywhere and even easier to pack for trips.

It fast and very easy to understand I brought it for my wife who has decided to go back to school so I help get her started and she loves this 2-1.

This chromebook is perfect for what I need. Using the internet and pay bills. Speed is fast and battery life is very long in between charges.

Went thru 4 Chromebook laptops and didn't like any for various reasons. This is by far the best. Plenty of storage, fast, plenty of RAM. Love it!

We bought this for our 13-year old for school and she loves it so far. It is light weight, easy to use and pretty efficient.

This Chromebook is an amazing and fast device. It is convertible, and the touchscreen is nice and easy. Connect fast to internet - as it should!
