It was definitely a challenge learning how to use this (there's no delete key and right clicking requires you press the Alt key as you right click on the TouchPad) because I was so used to a Windows based OS. However, this little thing is fast and sleek, and light! My only gripe is that it only has 1 USB port, whereas the other laptops I'm used to had at least 2 or 3. But I guess you could always use a USB hub unit.

Once I completed my Masters program I put my personal laptop away and forgot about it until the time came for me to refresh my resume and pursue better opportunities. I walked into BB knowing what I wanted but no idea which laptop fit my needs (personal emails, and documents). The sales associate heard my needs, and quickly pointed me to this item. I have had it for a month and really enjoy it, I probably have not explored all of the features, but I highly recommend for anyone not interested in excessive streaming.

Just love this hp! It is touch screen and very handy. It is also an energy saver. It sleeps on its own when unattended.

I am very happy with the purchase. Originally I purchased this for college classes. I am able to do most everything through native chrome os. With the addition of Linux crostini I am able to cover everything. I do not miss my Windows machine at all. It's nice when you can get to work in 10 seconds from a cold boot. The screen is a little dim but it's not a deal breaker for me. The keyboard is very nice and enjoy typing on it. Battery life is good. Overall a good little machine.

Really like it so far and it has enough ports and raw power with the i3 cpu & 8gb ram to get some stuff done. Recommended.

Isn’t the best I’ve owned. But for the price, it is worth it. I can take it anywhere Given that it is so light weight. Battery life is also good.

Only giving 4/5 due to the compatibility issues I've faced since purchasing it. Other than that, its been a good little alternative to a traditional laptop. The tablet feature and wide range of apps available have made it a worthy purchase, although I do run into some issues with device pairing since it is Google-based. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone for things like advanced digital art or heavy photo editing, but as a cloud-based laptop goes its great for everyday use.

Fantastic machine for such a low price tag! I was expecting this to have an i3, but after I got it home and launched the Cog and System apps, I was thrilled to learn that it includes an 8th generation i5! The same laptop with 128GB of flash memory is on sale for $559.99 and this has the same specs, aside from the 64GB flash memory!

Although the storage in these devices isn't amazingly fast, it doesn't matter much since Chrome OS is optimized to run on lower spec devices. Google continues to add new features and extend support for these devices making them a great value. Now that you can run Linux in a container you can overcome most limitations of the Chrome OS through the use of Linux applications. I really enjoy this device and often use it while traveling to offset the weight of my Windows laptops.

This is my first time trying a Chromebook and I have to say I am impressed. I wanted to make sure I got a laptop with enough RAM and latest processor, this offered it at a great price. It runs smoothly and I haven't had any problems with it.

I was looking for something for travel that was smaller than my 15.6 inch laptop and more capability than a tablet. This chromebook was on sale and was a great buy. It as simple to set-up and works great for my needs: e-mail, internet browsing, and credit card and bank account review. Laptop security is built into the chromebook. Memory is limited ....so you need to minimize downloads. you can supplement memory with sdc memory card if needed.

Got this on sale and couldn't beat the price for what I was looking for. Full HD screen a good amount of at 8gb and a solid processor. Definitely a "plus" chromebook. Plus it has the 2-1 functionality. I don't plan to use it for that but it's there if I need it. Also bought this open box to save a little extra money. Thing looked brand new. If you are a Chromebook fan you will be very happy with your purchase

I like the chromebook better than a laptop, I hate windows, so this is a nice operating system. Nice size, not too heavy.

Love the battery life, and it's a little faster than I expected. A bit heavy for the size but overall a great 2 in 1 laptop.

Did well with my son's online classes. Very easy to setup and converting it into a tablet makes things fun.
