Chromebook for the win
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this machine. We should have converted from our laptop to a chromebook years ago. Touchscreen is great, tablet mode awesome, and very fast. I do miss some of the windows features and apps, but for the price, this is a great buy.

WOW! This Chromebook is amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing build quality. Wonderful HD screen, backlit keyboard a big plus. Small bezels and light, thin and sleek. Processor, memory and internal storage are all A++! Very happy with this Chromebook! I buy a new one every year. I think this one might stick around longer!

Perfect little Chromebook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a somewhat smaller laptop-type computer to do mostly simple things on. This beauty is white on top, with the backside and keyboard a dark charcoal/blue color very nice. Lightening fast and great triple combo of keyboard, touchscreen, and folds over if desired.

Best Chromebook I’ve ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I managed to snag this for $449 for a parent who can’t make use of Windows or MacOS. Now that we have it, it’s my favorite machine we’ve ever owned. I never make use of the 360 degree hinge features, these are just laptops for me. With the speakers pointing right up at me in laptop mode, it looks and sounds great. At $629 it’s a harder sell for sure. 8 GB of RAM and a Core m3 in a Chromebook is surefire overkill but it makes everything we do absolutely fly. It was worth it over a $300 model running a Celeron N4000 or N4020. I’ve owned Chromebooks and Chromeboxes. I like ChromeOS. It’s not as useful as Windows, MacOS or most flavors of Linux, but it’s great at browsing and that’s already more than 90% of what we do every day online.

Chromebook review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great chromebook for my 5th grader so far. Fast, great looking screen, and easy to use. Only issue are the stickers all over the thing when you get it. Had to use goof-off to get rid of the adhesive for one of them.

Great Chromebook
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with mine. Excellent build quality, backlit keys, great screen just a joy to use. I have had mine for 3 months and it is working great. It has plenty of RAM and comes with an I-3 motor that is plenty for a Chromebook. Excellent battery as I get 10 hours easily. Mine never gets hot and the fan is hardly noticeable. It feels solid and I could not be happier with it. I use it daily. I also have a Pixelbook that is great, but for the money, this is a best buy. Check out all the reviews on line. For $ 350, it is a steal for a laptop. This is also a replacement for a Samsung Plus which was also great, and this is fantastic. Get one at $ 350.

Great for virtual school for 7th grader
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lightweight and intuitive, this was about as plug and play as we could get. Glad we opted for 8/64 instead of 4/32. Speedy and connectivity is good. Even has a privacy switch on side where you can turn off the camera!

One of the best Chromebooks you can buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the best Chromebooks you can get. It’s faster than dang chrome book I’ve ever owned probably due to the overkill i3 processor. The keyboard is one of the best to type on. The trackpad is very responsive. The battery lasts very long!! My biggest concern about this is how bright the screen gets, rather.. how bright it doesn’t get... the screen doesn’t get too bright even at maximum brightness it’s not bright enough. Otherwise this would be the perfect chrome book. Would be nice if there was more colors or a solid color.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product. Its very durable and not heavy. I use it for school work and it runs very fast. The touch screen is very nice and the light up keyboard is very convenient for when I'm working in the dark.

Good Chromebook!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very well built, great touchscreen, good sound (for a laptop), and excellent keyboard. Screen is average at best. Specs are good, except internal storage. 64G is considered very good by Chromebook standards, but most people will need more. Luckily, that problem is easily solved with a micro SD Card. In short, Chromebooks are pretty much maintenance-free (software-speaking), and are fantastic for most simple functions, but they won't replace a Windows or Mac computer for anything other than web browsing, multimedia, and light gaming. Good Chromebook!!!

Great for productivity and busy work.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After my daughter pretty much took over my Acer R11 I needed a new laptop/work machine. Having loved the 2-in-1 nature of the Acer Chromebook (plus the access to Android apps and games) I wanted another. I settled on this in part because of the excellent sale price at the time, but also because of reviews. It's an excellent machine and plenty powerful for a Chromebook. The only drawback is that the Intel chipset runs hot, like really hot. The top left side gets so warm it burns to rest on your leg. It's not so bad if the unit is resting on a counter, desk or table. But this is meant to flip back like a tablet too and it's just not great to use that way with the heat. It does have a fan and a vent on the rear but that does little to alleviate the heat. Either way, I'm satisfied with my purchase. It's just something to keep in mind if you decide to grab one of these.

Decent, but not enough storage.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent Chromebook - runs fast, especially with the Intel Core i3 & 8GB memory. Storage is a bit anemic at 64GB, so if you have a lot of pictures, it'll fill up fast.

Love it, Love it, Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my girl friend because her old laptop caused me more drama indirectly than it cause her. I'm picky so I needed the back lit keyboard, at least in i3, 8GH memory, and all the other fancy things. It's not even mine! Well when she got it all drama ceased and her love affair with her chrome book started. She has had this for almost a year and it's her own personal rockstar. For the money it can't be beat and the battery last for ever. She is smiling from ear to ear and uses it everyday and it's all gooooood! Find it on sale and buy it. Zero regrets

A Great Chromebook for Everybody!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In their infancy, Chromebooks were synonymous with the term “netbooks”. Small, inexpensive laptops that could not do much more than browse the web or check email. Since then, Google’s Chrome has risen in popularity to become the world’s most popular browser. Chrome now has its own ecosytem with both free and paid extensions. The web in general has matured so that most tasks can now be completed in a browser without the need to install an application on your desktop. And just within the past few years, the ability to run Android apps on Chrome OS has greatly increased its overall usability. Today, a Chromebook will likely meet most people’s needs as a general purpose computing device. But unless you are looking for a basic Chromebook, you might quickly realize that there are not that many options. There are still plenty of inexpensive models but most are lackluster with low resolution screens, only 4GB of RAM, less than 64GB of storage, and a weak processor. Then there’s Google’s own flagship Pixelbook, a fast, lightweight machine with 8GB of RAM and a speedy processor, but it’s priced out of most people’s budget for a Chromebook. So HP has put together the Chromebook x360 14”, a premium mid-range Chrome OS device but boasting some impressive specs: 14” 1920x1080 IPS LED w/ multitouch Intel Core i3-8130U Integrated Intel Graphics 8GB of RAM 64GB Flash Storage B&O Play Speakers Full-size backlit keyboard Multitouch Trackpad The device itself is well made, and of premium quality, unlike most of the bare-bones Chromebooks you’ll find. The screen is bright, vibrant, and touch enabled. The speakers, like many of HP’s laptops are B&O PLAY and sound just like I have come to expect from HP/B&O. The combination of the 16:9 screen and speakers make this a great device for binging Netflix, and the 360 degree rotation means you can effectively turn it into a 14” tablet at any time. Although a heavy tablet, as at 3.7 pounds it clocks in as one of the heavier Chromebooks. One of my favorite features of this laptop is that it charges via USB-C. It has two USB-C ports on either side of the laptop and can charge from either. Despite supporting USB-C charging, some previous HP laptops I’ve owned were unable to be charged by anything other than the USB-C adapter it came with so I’m glad this model does not have that limitation. I like the convenience of not having to carry a proprietary charger. Battery life seems to be excellent, but the battery life remaining indicator can be wildy inaccurate, so pay it little attention. I’ve seen it say 2 hours remaining at one point only to then say 7 hours remaining a few minutes later. I haven’t actually clocked it or did extensive testing but I’d say I’m definely seeing longer than 10 hours, and maybe close to the near 14 hours that HP claims. The power you get in this device is more than plenty. With a Core i3 and 8GB of RAM this thing is actually on par with Google’s Pixelbook but at nearly half the price. In all the time I have been using it has not slowed down or crashed in any way. Android apps are one of the most exciting things about newer Chromebooks. Not all of them are available to install, but I’ve had great success in playing some games, and using apps such as Microsoft Word. At this point, Android on Chrome OS is still early so not everything works. Classics like Sonic the Hedgehog and NBA Jam played perfectly. One of the most demanding games Asphalt 9 Legends played beautifully, but I did not have any luck with PUBG Mobile for example. One of the only downsides is that it only has 64GB of storage so if you do plan on using it for downloaded movies or a lot of Android apps you might need to add a microSD card. Pros: Packs more than enough power for a Chrome or Android device Long battery life USB-C 3.1 Charging (on either side of laptop) 1 USB-A port microSD storage options Headphone jack Cons: A little Heavy Only 64Gb of Storage Overall, if you are looking for a premium Chromebook experience without breaking the bank this laptop is one of the better if not the best one to get. It would be hard not to recommend the simplicity and security of Chrome OS alongside a well designed machine such as this one. And did I mention that it’s fast!

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research on chromebooks before I walked into bestbuy to buy one. I hadn't come across this one in my research. After playing on it a few minutes I was sold. It was a little more than I wanted to pay, but I don't regret it at all. I came home and read reviews before I even opened the box, and I still have yet to see one bad one! It's so sleek, it looks more expensive than it costs! I love the touch screen, and I didn't even realize it flipped back into a tablet until a few hours after I had it and was playing on it. It's fast, light, has a back lit keyboard. I'm super happy with my purchase!
