Only warranty options are to return it - for a cost to me - while they try to repair it. If I pay more they’ll ‘fix it faster’ being at least 3 business days. Not an option with homeschooling- they should send a new one and take back the broken one to do whatever they want with it. Wont recommend or purchase again

Bought it at the store last weekend but they had to order it and we picked it up there yesterday. Booted it up the next day (today) and everything was working until an hr or 2 later. After reading so many reviews now on it having that issue, we powerwashed (reset) it, boxed it back up and returning it tomorrow. Bought 2 stylus pens for it and neither of those worked with it either. No, am not going to recommend this model.

After only 3 months, this Chromebook would not power on. Navigating HP support was a bit challenging, but after being on a Chat call with a support agent for almost 2 hours, they finally agreed that I needed to send it in to be fixed. A box and shipping label were sent to my home , and it was returned 10 days later , fixed. 3 months after that. same thing won't power on. Again 45 minutes on a chat and I shipped it back to them. Now they are saying that due to a parts shortage I will not get the system back for 2 months! They will have had the system almost 3 months out of the 9 that I owned it. and no offer to send a new system, or extend the base warranty.
