Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the ease of use and responsive touch screen of this 2-in-1 Chromebook. Its lightweight design and good battery life are also frequently praised, along with its overall quality for the price. While some users wish for more USB ports, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this minor drawback.

Several other reviews mention the defective touchscreen but so far no issues, sensitivity good not great. Otherwise for the price, it is a fantastic buy for light computing and video playbacks. It is extremely lightweight and the 2-1 design make it a pleasure to use.

    Stopped Charging after 2 weeks

I purchased this in X360 in mid October and it stopped charging the first week of November. Looking at the HP support page I found local repair centers, but they do not handle Chromebooks, So I called an HP service number only be redirect several times to find a department that could address Chromebook repair. After 2 weeks I was finally able to get it shipped to HP, it is now December 1st. I did not hear anything from HP for an entire month and after some extensive phone calling was finally able to speak to someone about my repair. I was told that repair parts are not available and the machine expected ship date would be in one week. HP assigned a case manager, who now contacts me weekly with status updates. It is now February 1st, with no end in sight. HP has offered me a new, comparable machine but it would be a Windows 10 machine. They will not offer another Chromebook, I am guessing that they, HP, does have any interest in this product line. The amount of effort I had to put into just getting a repair ticket for a Chrome book and now the literal 2 month incomplete repair means I am done with ever buying an HP ever again. It is unfortunate because I still have a 4 year old ProBook laptop and 1 year old ProDesk that are fantastic. The HP chromebook I had for 2 weeks was great, until it needed service which is why I cannot recommend it or HP any more.

Do not buy! Touch screen defect on all devices

The touch screen is reversed. when you touch the bottom it thinks you are touching the top and vice versa. HP and Google have known about this for 6 months and still no fix. I'll be returning mine, which sucks because I like everything else about the computer.
