Received wrong item and no exchange or refund
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered this product and 2 days later received the wrong item. I called customer service the lady who I spoke to, told me that she was going to send me the returns label so that I can return it on any UPS stores, and also verified which store had the right product available so that way I could stop by and pick it up. She told me that once the UPS store scanned the return label the store that I selected would received a notification for them to get my right product ready and once they had it ready they would send me an email to pick up in store. I did received an email but it was stating that they canceled everything and that they were not able to send me the right item( even though they messed up by sending it wrong the first time) and also told me that they weren't able to refund me either. I had to go another store to get my right item since it was a Christmas present for my kid and spend extra money on it. I'm really disappointed with this sotre. Never again will buy anything from them

Actually Not Bad
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I picked up the HP Chromebook 14a-ne1013dx, I honestly wasn’t expecting much. With an Intel Celeron processor, 4GB of RAM, and just 64GB of eMMC storage, I assumed it would be sluggish, especially when multitasking. But after spending some time with it, I was shocked at how well it handled everyday tasks, even when pushing it a little harder than I thought I could. Look and Feel For a budget laptop, the HP Chromebook 14a looks better than I expected. It has a clean, minimalist design, and the 14-inch screen offers decent brightness and clarity for everyday tasks. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, and while the plastic build won’t fool anyone into thinking it’s premium, it’s sturdy and lightweight, making it a great option for on-the-go use. Snappy Performance on Modest Specs The first thing that caught me off guard was just how smooth and responsive Chrome OS feels on this hardware. I expected lag when opening multiple tabs or streaming, but it held up surprisingly well. Apps launch quickly, and switching between tasks is fairly seamless. Of course, it’s not a powerhouse, but for a budget-friendly Chromebook, it’s more than capable. Remote Desktop Use One of my key tests was using Remote Desktop services. I often need to access a Windows machine remotely, and I was curious if this little Chromebook could handle it. To my surprise, using Chrome Remote Desktop and Microsoft’s Remote Desktop app worked without issues. The connection was stable, and while a more powerful machine might have smoother transitions, it was definitely usable for light work. Chrome OS Speed & Security One of the biggest perks of this laptop is Chrome OS itself. The lightweight nature of the system keeps things fast and efficient, even on lower-end hardware. Plus, with automatic updates and built-in virus protection, security is a non-issue. It’s a great pick for anyone who wants a hassle-free, low-maintenance machine. Battery Life: All-Day Power Battery life is another highlight. HP claims up to 12 hours, and in real-world use, I was consistently getting 8-10 hours with moderate browsing, video streaming, and document editing. That’s more than enough for a full work or school day, making it a solid choice for portability. Conclusion: Way Better Than Expected Going in, I assumed this Chromebook would be slow and frustrating, but I walked away pleasantly surprised. It’s not meant for power users, but for students, casual users, and even remote desktop access, it delivers far more than I expected for the price. The snappy performance, long battery life, and simple, secure experience make it a great value—just don’t expect to edit videos or run heavy applications. Would I recommend it? Absolutely—if you know what you’re getting. If you need a solid, budget-friendly laptop for basic tasks, this one’s a sleeper hit.

Too good to be true.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This chromebook is...fine, but not suitable for multitasking. And when I say multitasking, I was not able to sufficently run google documents or drive, while having youtube music going. It seemed to stutter and have a hard time with any type of media.

Perfect for Travel
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP Chromebook 14” is perfect for a train ride or car ride especially if you have kids and want them to watch a movie or play some games. Storage is plenty especially for the Chromebook that In my opinion is very resilient against viruses. It’s great for basic tasks like browsing, streaming, and office work, and this new chip actually does well with some gaming as well. The N4500 chip is a processor for the HP Chromebook 14a. It offers improved performance compared to the Celeron processors, with dual-core architecture and Intel UHD Graphics. N4500 chip provides a decent boost in performance compared to the Celeron processors, making it suitable for multitasking and running multiple apps simultaneously. Its integrated Intel UHD Graphics also handle casual gaming and graphics-intensive tasks fairly well. Not sure about battery life on these as I usually run mine plugged in. The 14” screen is nice and sharp and the Chromebook feels lightweight compared to other computers. This is a much better version that works very well and HP is a reputable name.
