I'm sorry you had troubles with a product breaking, but maybe this comment was misplaced, and it wasn't the toner cartridge that broke.
If that is the case, the cartridge actually is under a warranty. As long as it is genuine and is not empty, you can contact us for replacement: hp.com/contactHP

You have to be willing to extend past the initial warning you get from your printer that the toner is low and keep an eye on print quality, but often I am getting 100-300 more pages than expected. Of course, your performance may vary depending on how much color you print per page, color saturation, etc.
