My son was looking to upgrade from an older 60hz monitor since he is getting more into gaming on his laptop. First off the design is perfect for his smallish desk. The old monitor was big and bulky and had a huge frame but this HP - 24f 24" IPS LED FHD FreeSync monitor is much more sleek and the base doesn't take up much room on the desktop. The picture colors are very bright and clear with the blacks coming in very deep and dark. The upgrade in refresh rate was the most important for my son's gaming and it did not disappoint. He said there is minimal to no lag even when playing the most intensive FPS games. I'm sure in the future he will want to upgrade to a !00hz or above monitor but for now at this price point ($119 on sale) this monitor is perfect for our needs.

For $179 the HP - 24f 24" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor - Natural Silver is the best bang for the buck I’ve seen in a while. It has a small footprint not taking up much desk real estate with an amazing 24” screen. This is a beautiful silver, thin design and is ultra lightweight but not light enough to be knocked over easily. Colors are rich, whites are bright and images look crisp and clear. Image editing is enhanced Movies and videos look great but could be slightly better. There are different options for Viewing Modes such as; Low Blue Light Night Reading HP Enhance + Gaming - FreeSync Movie Photo Custom Each of these gives you different lighting enhancements for the type of viewing you’re current using. These all are great enhancements to use in those variations. Or you can choose custom and change the enhancements to suit your needs. All in all this is a great monitor for a under the $200 price point and worth the money.

This is a great budget option monitor for a non gaming enthusiast. 24" IPS looks great colors and brightness are great not washed out. You have a VGA and HDMI output option (VGA really who uses VGA these days). 75hz native refresh rate available although windows defaulted to 60hz my first time. Very thin model so great for saving space on your desk, but I did remove a star for no vesa option. This day no excuse not to provide a vesa mounting option. Stand feels solid with a loop on the bottom for some cable management. Options panel is pretty bland with your usual options, hard to find buttons in the dark. I got this montior for a workstation but gamers wont find much exciting about this option but its geared more to workers and movie watchers. TL;DR It's a good price point for a nice looking IPS monitor low space but no vesa mount and VGA output has senior citizen monitor written all over it.

I ordered this monitor to be able to use as an extension with my laptop. Seeing as I'll be working from home for quite a bit of time I realized that my eyes were starting to hurt from looking at such a small screen. This monitor is a lifesaver! The picture quality is top notch. The only negative I would say is no built in speakers but that didn't stop me from buying it as I had previously bought some.

Removed monitor from box and attached the stand, which is very easy. It has both VGA and HDMI connections for digital or analog. It has an extremely thin bezel that is barely noticeable. It is an attractive monitor as far as monitors go. At 1080, the resolution is crisp! It performs as all LED displays should and has a very wide viewing angle. Gaming is smooth with no lag. It works seamlessly! I know this is just a monitor, but it would be nice if it had some basic speakers. Just my preference.

I use this monitor for gaming primarily. Yes it's not 4k but for a 1080p it is a wonderful monitor. The response time is pretty good and the contrast is also good. The only con I can say about it is it doesn't come mount ready. But there is an adapter you can get for it which works great.

The monitor works as identified in the description. Ive been using 2 of them for a few years now with no issues whatsoever

It did what it was supposed to do! Wish I would of gotten one that has option of going vertical- that’s about it

The setup, the attachments, the instructions, how easy it is, the colors on the screen, everything about this monitor is beautiful. The price couldn't be better, be sure and pick one up.

Super clear, crisp picture w/great color. Wakes quickly after my mac has been asleep and so far, no issues at all. Great price + great performance = great purchase. Only thing missing is a camera.

I understand that cap of refresh rate is 75 but how do I put it to 75 because the default is 60 and is there a way to over lock the hz

Everything advertised is pretty accurate: the anti-glare panel is very effective, the virtually frameless design lends a minimalist aesthetic to your home office (even though my home office was not asking for such an aesthetic), it does 1080p, most of it is incredibly thin, and it has a wide viewing angle. It even comes with an HDMI cable. But none of those descriptions address quality. And while I was impressed by the natural brightness of this monitor, everything else was disappointing. I honestly don't think that 1080p is cutting-edge now so I'm not sure how that rates as the #1 selling point here - especially when the image quality is wholly disappointing. My two biggest gripes about the image quality on this monitor are (1) The image looks like someone took the image from my laptop screen and hit "Enlarge" on an old photocopier (a new monitor should NEVER look this unclear!)., & (2) The last time I had a crazy white balance problem with a monitor it was with an ancient tube monitor that I was trying to drive with more modern machinery - and the white/color balance on this monitor was WAY off and annoying from the moment I turned it. Whenever a new monitor fails to offer any new technology or design, then it better come out of the box flawlessly impressive. This monitor is an annoying disappointment.

Best monitor for the price. For 24" it's really clear and the bezel is very nice to look at. It frame and monitor is quite easy to adjust without added software. You can adjust brightness and other items just by selecting the buttons.

Cant go wrong with this and a ps4! ...............

I bought this monitor on sale at a great price. However, the picture quality is not nearly as good as the floor model I saw. Additionally, the HDMI cable supplied does not connect to my HP Elitedesk Computer. I had to return to the store and purchase a DisplayPort to HDMI cable for an additional $45.00 expense. Also, only a quick connect instruction sheet is included with no instructions on how to use the four setting buttons on the lower panel. I wish I had purchased another brand.

This monitor broke after 3 years. One day, the monitor screen started to fade, then the screen started making purple shadows. It want able to be fixed by best buy geek squad either.
