It definitely visually is a step above the 3 year old monitor I replaced. However there's some design decisions that are just annoying. The stand doesn't allow for forward tilt at alll. Which for me is a huge pain as I often like to lay down and watch stuff off my computer. Second, for some reason they added a light to the location where the monitor's power connection is. Even when it's off! This thing sits next to my bed. So I have to either unplug it or somehow cover up the connection just to sleep at night. Otherwise it's decent, especially for the price I bought it.
