A nice budget friendly HD monitor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP M27h monitor is incredibly thin. The base of the monitor does not waste any desk space because it is flat and nearly flush to the surface it’s on. I was able to place a keyboard, with its feet up, right up against the bottom of it. After adjusting some of the monitor settings, I was able to get a picture I was comfortable with. The monitor controls, while easily accessible on the right underside of the monitor, are laid out in such a way that is a little awkward to use at first. I found the color accuracy to be exceptionally good, whether it be looking at colorful online videos such as demos, web browsing or even gaming. The monitor itself has plenty of screen real estate at 27”. I found that with that size, that everything was clear and comfortable to see smaller details without straining your eyes. The HP monitor sports a 5ms response time and a 75Hz refresh rate. I could not discern any noticeable amount of screen or input lag. While I would not exactly call this a gaming monitor, I also would not say it can’t. I have used monitors like this for gaming over the years and find that they hold their own. The HP M27h is a good all-around monitor, with a stylish thin design, a nice crisp, large, colorful display to go with it. I would recommend it to any person looking for a nice HD monitor with plenty of screen that will not break the bank. It’s as easy on the eyes as it is on your wallet.

Returning.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven’t purchased a monitor in a few years, but apparently some don’t have audio output, as is the case here. Yes, this is mentioned in the specs but I legit wouldn’t even know to confirm something so basic. To boot- there is no audio input on this either- so good luck plugging in speakers if you’re using a ps5 or something. Total joke.

Two months already dead
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been less than two months since I got this monitor but it has already been broken. After 14 days without GEEKS protection, Best Buy can't do anything but I need to contact HP. Too stressful.

Not Not made for desk or table
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is terrible. The sides are made with no protection therefore, if anything touches it slightly, the TV/monitor is destroyed does not work.

Great Monitor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is a pleasure. From the get go it’s clear that the lightweight and sleek design doesn’t come at the expense of quality. It’s nearly plug and play out of the box as it arrives wel packaged and comes with an HDMI cable, power cord, and the instructions for the stand’s assembly. Beyond a two minute set up that doesn’t require tools you’re good to go. What stands out immediately is how versatile the stand is. It’s weighted to keep the monitor firmly on your desk but allows for tilt and height adjustments to suit your setup. I found myself adjusting it easily as I found the right fit. Because it is a 27 inch monitor it does a great job at allowing for multiple windows at once simultaneously and the image remains clean no matter how divided your desktop becomes. Initially you’ll find that the screen’s brightness is quite high. I found myself turning it down to well below 50% before it became comfortable to view. Adjustments were easy to make with buttons in the lower third of the display that are sleek and unobtrusive. The screen has a matte finish that seems to make use of anti-glare and is quite comfortable with plenty of lights adjacent to it. Of note here, the monitor does not come with built in speakers so if you’re angling to use this with your desktop and don’t have a solution for audio you’ll be out of luck. That said, given the number of bluetooth opportunities for audio it’s unlikely to be a determining factor. It’s hard to go wrong with a monitor but from the outset the HP M27h FHD Monitor does a great job at satisfying both quality and presentation. The colors are bright, pop well, and in short the monitor is a joy to use.
