What a great concept. I didn't even realize I needed ink and it was sent -although I still haven't figured out how this program works. I've had this for 2 months & have only received 1 set of free ink. I hope to get the next one soon. (Even though I still have a good amount of ink left.

I purchased the most expensive plan (300 pp/month: $ 9.95/mo) when I bought a new HP printer at Best Buy. There are 200 pp/mo and 100 pp/mo plans also for less cost. You reportedly can switch at any time and there is a rollover of a certain number of unused pages. I figured I would start with the most expensive plan and accumulate rollover pages, with plans to switch to lesser plan if I consistently used less. I had actually gone to the store looking for a printer made by Brother, but the HP factory representative was in the printer aisle and steered me towards the HP Officejet 8610. When he explained the Instant Ink program to myself and my adult son it was our understanding that for the $9.99 cost of the card to enroll in the program, we would receive the first 3 months of service: $9.99 purchase covered 1st month, a free month was being given away as introductory promotion, and finally when you registered your plan within 7 days using a promo code, a 3rd month of service was credited. After I did all of the above, I noted that my account had been credited for only 2 months instead of 3. I called HP and they stated that this was correct. I explained what I had been told, and they "escalated" the issue to a supervisor, who called me later and stuck with the two months only. I explained again what the HP rep had said to both myself and son, and offered that even if the rep had been misinformed, HP should give me the month in the name of good customer relations. He explained that he did not have sufficient authorization for this! REALLY? I guess only the CEO has the heft to authorize this amount of money. Oh well, lesson learned. I haven't yet used the first cartridges in the program to critique how the automatic ordering system works, but I may edit this review in future depending upon how that goes.

I purchased the initial plan at $2.99 and will be upgrading soon since I will be printing more with the HP unit I purchased instead of my other printers since the quality is slightly better and the ink cost is much more efficient. Removes the hassle of having to run out of ink and the need to go out and buy.

This service is very convenient. Never need to run out to buy expensive ink when you've already run out. Ink is automatically delivered before you need to replace it. So worth the price.

Best buy staff,is the best. Hp instant ink set up is easy and worry free. The whole setup from the printer to the computer setup was so easy and a great stress free deal.

My BIL recommended a particular printer so I could join the easy ink refill. I followed his advice. Signing up was not too complicated and when my original ink started to run low, new ink show up in the mail. Easy to exchange the ink cartridges and maintain a good print quality.

I think this was a great recommendation for me, from my sales associate when I made my printer purchase. Although I haven't used it yet, I know it will definitely save me trips to the store when it's time for paper & ink. It also will save me a lot of money as well, I'm glad I purchased this protection.

They lure you in with cheap prices on printers then sock it to you for ink. This is one way to limit your exposure. $10/month or $120/year for 300 sheets/month is less than I would pay for separate cartridges because they NEVER print near the number of pages advertised.

We still can't believe the GREAT deal we got! I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about this plan, but we bought it any way because it was just $5. We got 3 months for FREE and there are NO strings attached, hops to jump, or hidden charges. You pick your package and the system automatically tells you how many pages you print a month so you can figure out which package is best for you. You can cancel, upgrade or down grade your subscription at any time. We are only paying $2.99 (including shipping) and we get a set of new ink EVERY month. Unbeatable!!! I definitely recommend it!!!

I was skeptical of this program, but after a quick calculation, I learned I would save at least $50 a year on ink and a valuable amount of time buying it. For $10 a month I get all the ink I need delivered to my mailbox. If you print a lot, especially pictures, I highly recommend this program.

If you are looking for economy and quality, Instant Ink is for you. I am so very happy. My pics are great and the Ink is lasting a lot more than the one I had before, and it's shipped to my door...... way before I really need it.

I love how easy this program is. I never have to go to the store and search for ink and instead have it sent straight to my house before I even run out. The service keeps track of how often I print and the 3 month trial has helped me figure out how much printing I need.

This plan is going to save the average home printer quite a bit of money! Also means I don't have to go out to buy my ink refills. It will be delivered to my home at a very reasonable price.

As the original, small capacity cartridges neared empty, my first set of replacements arrived in the mail. All neatly packaged, installed easily and tidy post-paid return envelope included for recycling of the empties. Affordable price, no need to keep track of anything, seems like a good process.

It's such a good idea not to have to worry about checking ink levels all the time. The program does it for you and automatically sends you ink before you need it. I do a lot of my work at night (stores are usually closed), so it's one less thing to worry about.

We joined shortly after we bought our new printer. We have received all of our cartridges, but we have not installed them yet. We still have enough ink in our sample cartridges. HP will not charge us a monthly fee until we install the cartridges they sent.

Easy to apply to your instant ink account and is significantly cheaper than purchasing the ink cartridges separately.

Great feature and main reason I selected HP all in one printer. For past 25 years have used Canon printers which have worked great. Since finding out about the automatically order of ink via the web from the printer decided to switch to HP. Now won't have to worry about running out of ink.
