    While it may not be "instant ink" as in refilling itself if it runs out, it does automatically reorder ink after printing so many pages (depends on plan). I printed quite a number of pages the first night I set it up. Within about 4 days, I found a package on my front porch. In it was another complete set of cartridges. Those are still boxed up as I haven't used up the first set of cartridges yet.

    I like the fact that they let you know if your about to exceed your limit. I signed up for 50 pages a month. they let me know when I was close to using my maximum and gave me the option of upgrading to 100 pages a month instead of charging me for being over my 50 page limit. I realized you have to keep your printer on sleep mode and connected to the internet so they can detect when your low on ink.

    I have used HP instant ink for a long time. I like that the pages roll over if not used. They seem to ship the ink at the right times so I never run out. My use varies, and I will probably downgrade my service plan to a lesser page count after my last child goes off to college and we don't print as much. It will save me money.
