My FULL cartridges were rendered completely useless because I wasn't paying the monthly fee. What a waste! I'm purchasing cartridges and will just tell them to save money instead.

Obviously too many because I was 900 pages over in the first month - with a hefty $60 charge. Why pay per page? Sometimes only a few lines are printed on one page. It doesn't seem right. This Instant Ink is advertised as a great deal. I personally would rather purchase my own ink cartridges. I cancelled the service after one month and three days. But be careful when you cancel because you are no longer able to print until you replace the 'Instant Ink' cartridges with cartridges that you have purchased. It seems as if paying for ink usage instead of pages printed would be a better idea.

Worked for 45 min trying to get it to work, kept saying to put in HP ink. I put in HP ink, the ink that came with the printer. Finally I was able to reach the HP help. Another 45 min for him to tell me that the ink that came in the box was bad. 10 days later, new ink arrives. I finally get the courage to try again 5 days after that. Put the ink in, and now the screen is telling me to put the ink in that came with the printer. I am so frustrated. I will be contacting Best Buy to return the printer and this ink thingy.

From your review, I can’t tell why your printer would not accept the ink cartridges, so I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
