I’m sorry to hear that your ink ran out so soon. It concerns me that the cartridges you’ve received performed so poorly. Unless you were printing mostly high-density prints, it does seem like you should have been able to print more.
Here are some things you can consider:
- If it appears that a cartridge was low on ink to begin with, or that the poor page yield was caused by a defective cartridge, you can contact the seller who sent you the cartridge about that.

- A high-density print (such as an image or graph) uses ink more quickly than a text-only document, particularly if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry.

You can print 300 pages for less than $10 per month. Before my cartridges would barely print 200 pages before it needed replacement (every 2-4 months). I'm a grad student and I like to have a hard copy of articles to see and highlight. I printed over 500 pages on one black cartridge (only printing documents and articles). Also I got 3 months- 300 pages free with the purchase of my printer ($80) Basically it paid for itself by signing up for the trial (if you add cost of ink replaced twice). If you like to print photos at home, this would be amazing for you because you can print 300 COLOR photos (8x10 or whatever size you want) for the same price. The printer orders ink FOR YOU and delivers it to your door. I have NOT had a problem yet. These cartridges have more ink that the XL cartridges. No more buy $30-40 cartridges at the store! Absolutely recommended!
