I have actually been using the HP InstantInk for a few years now. I print reports that rely heavily on photos with comments. They can be 45 to 65 pages each. I have also tracked spending for HP ink for over 15 years. This program has cut my costs by almost 64% compared to purchasing at office supply stores, box stores, clubs and online retailers. This cost difference is only for HP Branded Cartridges. I have had too many issues with generic cartridges and in some cases it will invalidate warranty. But with this program, HP Branded Cartridges become less expensive than generic ones anyway. And they simply arrive in the mail before I need them, always on time.

Love having prepaid ink cartridges! No worries regarding running out of ink anymore. Really like this service. Cheap too.

Love Instant Ink. Always have cartridges when I need them as they are delivered to me before I need it. Less expensive than going to the store to buy them.

I just tried the instant ink . I’m not sure if I’ll like it or not. It’s very convenient. I just received my first shipment for the month. I have to give it a few months to see if it fulfills my needs. As of today it’s looking good.

HP - Instant Ink 300-Page Monthly Plan is a free gift come with the purchase of HP printer ENVY 5530. When I went to register the instant ink card with HP, I was offered an additional six months service of instant ink 300 page for free. That means I got a total of seven months of 300 page printing free of charge. That is definitely a good deal.

The HP instant ink is a great program as the printer tells HP when you need the ink before you run out. You purchase the first package when you buy from the store and don't have to start right away. The program is kinda misleading as it counts the pages you print and not the months of service. When I read that I thought the program was ink and paper, however it is just ink. You get both black and colored ink in the welcome package and your printer (web enabled) sends the ink levels to HP so that you get your refills before they are needed. It's a great cost saving program when you don't have time to run to the store, but check your mail.
