The ink renewal program is wonderful. But your paying for the what if too. I have already gone over my limit, new ink was shipped about a month ago, and I am still using the same cartridges I started with. SO I am afraid that I will never run out of ink, but will never have an option to run out either. (It is not a bad problem to have. It is worth the 9.99 a month.

I purchased Instant Ink at the time I purchased new printer. I received first refill already but have yet to use it.

A great addition to my ENVY 5540 printer. New cartridges were ordered automatically on set up. It took about nine days to arrive. So far timing has not been a problem. The new ink cartridges have far more ink in them than any store bought cartridges I have ever purchased, therefore, they last a long time. With three different monthly plans to choose from, this is the best deal on ink I have ever come across.

This will save you money. Ask for the 3 month trial. l bought the 300 page per month plan. It's only $10 per month but you will spend more than that if you print that much. The first 3 months are free when you ask. Once you figure out your volume you can always adjust down. What you don't use carries over to the next month. Cartridges are send automatically because HP monitors your usage.

Set up was easy, however I received an email saying the code was not valid. After calling support it was sorted out. Already received first resupply and just hit low ink so ready to replace carts. Love that I don't have to run to store to get more ink in the middle of a project! 4 stars cause haven't really used the program yet.

In all honesty, was not particularly looking for this benefit when it came time to purchase new printer (HP Envy 7640 all-in-one). However, was totally won over with ease of setting up account and no longer going to the store in the hopes you might find the ink cartridges you need. Very happy with this set-up, and first set of instant ink arrived within (5) business days of establishing HP account.

I have only been using for one month, but the ease to register and the thought that my ink usage with be kept tracked is nice.

I bought the instant ink package cause I have kids that are always printing. This way HP knows when I need INK. Auto re-order. Plus I can change the package at any time..

This is my second go around with instant ink. It's great to get ink when needed but economically if printing mostly text probably not a great idea. I have run over allotted sheets amount and charged accordingly when I begin to use limited ink on many pages. Again if lots of color and pictures it's great. Also support sucks.

This is a worthwhile service because we live in the country and we’re not necessarily close to the store to get cartridges when we need them. I definitely recommend this service price is right. Give it a try and you will like it too. They come fast and on time. They are the same cartridges that come with the printer. That way you know what you get will work.

I like the concept here takes the worry out of running out of ink. Only thing is that the printer gets daily calls from HP to check on the ink levels, I'm guessing here???

What can I say, this program is super easy and it saves me money

Gone are the days of shelling out $80 for ink! The ink arrives at your door before it's out and they send an envelope to ship back used cartridges for recycling. Love it!

First cartridge "reload" arrived not long after I signed up but I still haven't had to install them... nice to have new ones in hot stand-by. Still trying to figure out if it makes economical sense but the convenience is unquestionable. Clearly an attempt by HP to lock up this secondary market.

This idea is awesome! Makes getting ink super easy and way cheaper!

This program saves me time, as I do not have to run to the store when I am out of ink and is less expensive than purchasing ink cartridges individually.

Now with the option to get electronic GC is a plus.

The plan sounds wonderful but the process one has to go through to activate is ridiculous. Maybe I had too many things going on when I tried activating the card, but it was not as direct and easy as presented when I purchased the card in the store. I am going to select "yes" I would recommend to a friend" only because am concerned I wasn't as focused as I could have been. I will see how the program works and will update.

I have had trouble with ink drying up on me due to lack of use. I'm still on the first month, so I can't tell if this will happen again or not. Quality of printing is great!
