I personally have not tried this but two of my clients have. One pleased and the other, the jury is still out. It seems reasonable. They monitor your usage then send you ink automatically. If there are problems HP will quickly send you new cartridges.

This is definitely a convenient option for those that can't find a place that does ink refill. I used to go to Fry's but they stop this service a couple months ago. Costco does it but I don't have a membership card, so I do this. Great!

Even though I'm not a fan of the hp printer I purchased, it does work well once you know how to use it but I do LOVE THE INSTANT INK PLAN. I use a lot of ink certain times of the year and love not having to run to the store to purchase ink or even having to keep up when I need to refill.

Like the 3 month free trial. Really gives you a chance to determine if you are on the right plan. Have received my first set of replacement cartridges already. Plan also allows for changes if your needs are different in the future. Looks to be a money saver. Will need to be on the plan awhile to determine that.

Had previously purchased with a different printer but all is great. Real simple and easy. No need to refill cartridges to save money HP does it for you. Just subscribe for estimated printed pages and HP will send you the ink as needed. A plus for all printers

Don't look anywhere else! You'll spend hundreds of dollars going with any other printer! This Instant ink program has saved me so much money, it's not even funny! Will never get over how much this has helped me!

I didn't think I needed it but wow you don't realize how much ink you go through and before you know it usps has a small package at your door and its replacement ink from hp. Its amazing you copier communicates with hp and monitors you use. Love this service.

Much like amazon provides, HP is looking to keep their customers directly through this convenient subscription service. If you use your printer frequently and blow through ink, this is a logical and affordable solution to replacing ink, with a plan that fits a number of different users.

I'm happy to know that I can get ink this way. Before I got my new printer, I had bought ink for my old printer, and the printer crashed leaving me with ink I couldn't use. So when I got my new printer, I liked this idea of them detecting when your ink is low and sending you new ink cartridges, with 3 good plans to choose from.

The HP - Instant Ink plan definitely is the way how you want to use your HP printer. It will save you a lot of ink cost and very convenient to use. Once you complete set up your account for the instant Ink plan, HP will ship you a new ink cartridge again. You will never run out your ink anymore.

I opted into this on a trial basis. So far, so good. The package I signed up for seems to be a good option for my family. I like the fact it can be adjusted or opted out of at any time. Seems like a great way to keep from running out of ink at the most inopportune times.

This is a great service that I wish had been available years ago. The frustration of running out of ink in the middle of a project and the stores are closed. This service never let's you run out. Your printer communicates when the need is coming due and ink is at your doorstep. Great Service!!

It hard to rate ink as I have not gotten any yet, it has not been that long to require ink.

Being a part of the Instant Ink Program has been a great investment. It helps with the expense of having to pay for copies when you run out of points, or need a copy in a hurry, and most of all you don't have run out for ink!!

This has been a great thing to have for daughter in college. No need to run out and get ink. It comes in the mail. The printer senses when running out of ink and contacts HP and magically, ink comes before it runs out. Great for a college student or anyone.

Many good things out of this deal! not only you never run out of ink, but it is definitely cheaper than buying individually your inks. You receive emails letting you know when they are shipping the next load of ink.

that was a additional bonuses, when a i buy the printer for my workplace,easy to setup to refill the cartridges and get it on time,without the worries of futures purchases,another point for hp.

love the plan get more when I need. and less when I dont. great on roll overs. Printers lets HP know when Im running out and sends more automatically... You can email photos too.. got one for my grandaughter in Florida too.. she loves it.

I wasn't familiar with this program until I bought my new printer and I was hesitant to get involved with a "subscription" service, but honestly, this is a money saver! We don't print that often, but this program is even cheaper than buying one set of cartridges per year. I love it!
