Runs out too quick
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP really milks this one. I’m buying ink every month now!

Posted .Hi Jon,
I am really sorry that your cartridges appear to have been used up too quickly. Unless you are printing many high density prints, it does seem like you should be able to print longer.
Here are a few facts about ink usage that might help:
- A high-density print (like a photo or graph) will use the ink more quickly than a text-only document, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry.
- Using the draft and black only settings on your printer can help save on ink.
- Shutting the printer down between uses can result in some savings. However, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That will let the printer 'park' so that the cartridges are protected from excess drying.
If you feel that the poor page yield was caused by a defective cartridge, you have the option to:
- request a replacement or refund from the seller.
- contact us if it is a defective genuine cartridge that is not replaced by the vendor (and it is still within the warranty ends date on the cartridge): hp.com/contactHP

Overpriced

Posted .Hello Jimmy,
I am glad that the cartridges work so well for you, but understand that you don't like the cost.
Since a little ink is used when the printer clears the nozzles during maintenance routines, turning the printer off when it is not in use can help save ink,
It is important to always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That way, it will 'park' the cartridges where they can protect the printhead from drying out and clogging.

bad batch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchase ink far in advance but don't open it until I need to use it, that being said... I got stuck with this pack, I installed the cartridges and had issues with one being clogged which sent my printer into a constant cleaning mode which then wasted almost the entire package of cartridges.

required for my printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought a complete set, installed the cartridges and used up half of the ink trying to get the printer cleaned and aligned. So frustrated that I turned it in on another printer Epson ET 3700. Not happy with HP. Probably won't buy another HP printer. Mom said "never say never".

Posted .Hi there Matthew,
Finding the 564 cartridges might be challenging, as the cartridges are an older model. Still, they are sold by Best Buy and several other retailers regularly. I suggest you order online over going to a store. There is more availability online. Feel free to reach out to Best Buy at any time via https://www.bestbuy.com/contact-us. If the cartridge is not full, you can also return it at www.bestbuy.com/site/help-topics/return-exchange-policy/.

I would not recommend these cartridges.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My basic complaint is that I frequently have to buy ink for the HP Photo printer 7525. The cartridges do not seem to contain very much ink, even the xl ones. I would not recommend buying a printer that uses the 564 cartridges.

Cartridges not full?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After printing less than 20 pages, I got a low ink warning from the printer. Checking the ink levels, they were below 1/5 full. That's ridiculous!

Posted .Hi,
I am sorry that the cartridges didn’t last long for you. I can understand if you are not happy about that.
Ink usage determines how long each cartridge lasts. High-density prints (such as images and graphs) will use more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the surrounding air is dry.
Here are some things that might help lower your ink usage:
- Set the printer to draft mode whenever possible
- Using the black-only setting will save on colored ink usage.
- Shut the printer down between uses
- Always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying
If your experience appears to be due to a defective cartridge, please check about returning it. Step-by-step instructions for completing the return and exchange process is covered at:

Expensive, short lived!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It would not be much more expensive to just buy a new printer every time I run out of ink. No info on the ink package about the number of pages a cartridge will print, but it isn't a lot.
