Cheap Ink

Functional but expensive

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once you've purchased an HP printer, you've got to purchase ink cartridges that will exceed the cost of your printer many times over, probably even in the first year. That's the biggest complaint with these, and everyone knows it. Next time I run out, I will experiment with an off-brand replacement on Amazon, and see how that goes. HP brand recommended if you want a safe but expensive way to keep your printer inked.

I tried ordering other brands that are supposed to be compatible with my printer, but they did not work as well. Even if Best Buy doesn't have the ink in stock at the store where I shop, I can order it online and pick it up in store or have it shipped to my home.

The colors give nice pictures
