    I had put it in, but my printer did not recognize it as an HP. so I had to get a different one and change it out.

    You really don't have much choice with your ink when you buy a printer. This one lays a solid black down which is all I ask.

    Does not last long . Drys out fast if you do not use it right away. That's what Best Buy sales person told me.

    I usually buy my cartridges on line from Best Buy, and they are always fine. This time, one of the 2 I ordered is defective. Not that this is your fault, it is clearly an HP issue, but is a pain. Also, I have found that when i get the XL cartridges, they clog my print head, so beware of those. Otherwise, the HP products are reliable.

    I think all ink is pretty much the same, this one does dry fast but I wish it would last longer and wasn't so expensive.
