I had no black ink operating in my machine. I thought the cartridge ran out which is normal obviously. As it turned out, my machines black print head gave out. The machine is going away.

Cartridges dries up too quickly over time when not being actively used but I am committed to the printer I have at this point unfortunately.

had to buy this because the first one did not work, have been using this one and so for it is working good but starting to run low after several pages

It seem that this ink runs out very quickly..The gauge will show 1/3 full but the ink will say it is low and stop printing the full page. However it is not very expensive for one cartridge.. but it all adds up

I replaced the ink cartridge that came with my printer with this cartridge and literally 1 week later, I was out of ink. I had to purchase a new cartridge that is supposed to have an XL half life. So we shall see.

I always wondered why these ink cartridges did't last very long. It's sad that even a black cartridge has to be replaced just as fast as the color ones. Manufacturers should make the black ones last longer.

Again, these are ok when new, but they dry up quickly and you are stuck buying another cartridge! Not a good value unless you print a lot early on after purchase.

Just like all these new inks they do not last as long as they should. But since I have an HP this is the quickest way to get ink for my printer wen it runs out at the worst time.

As usual, hp overprices its ink cartridges and does not deliver a long lasting product. One has to recommend this one though because there's little else to choose from when buying replacement cartridges.

Bought a new photosmart printer to replace my old one that used 02 ink. I feel like I am buying ink every month now, the 564 don't last nearly as long as the 02 ink did. Kinda sorry I switched now.

I have purchased previous ink cartridges that worked fine, but this one has been printing blank pages at only a month old, and 75% full. I need to return it to Best Buy.

You might think you're getting a good deal for this cartridge at $14, but it doesn't last very long. If you do occasional printing, it's fine. Otherwise, get the cartridge with the longer life.

I know it might be because the ink drys but every time I buy this I use it once or twice, then go back after awhile say a month or two and it's empty again idk just seems to go fast

It is ok just don't last as long as they used too I could used to get about a whole pack of paper out of the ink but now I've seen when it gets about 3/4 a pack I need to be getting more ink

Snaps in correctly, and unlike the color cartridges, the std. sized Black cartridge seems to last a long time

I always buy my ink from Best Buy but I have been getting error messages and having to reinsert. I finally gave up on the cartridge. What is going on?

Can’t say much. It cost what it cost but definitely not any different from a 3rd party cartridge from Amazon or eBay.

Does not last very long. Dries out quick and expensive. But it’s what you sign up for when you get a printer.

Printers have gotten less expensive while ink becomes more expensive. It's kinda like bathing suits, you pay more for less. Long term coverage is not possible in either case.

Never have I had ink run out so fast. I bought this printer that takes these 564 ink cartridges and we have been through probably 12 full sets of cartridges in the past few months.
