Only problem is is that it runs out of ink too quick!

I barely use my printer but always seem to buy ink. I have to replace all the ink 4 times a year. Maybe made 300 copies and barely 100 pictures a year. I have had the printer for almost 3 years. The ink costs $60 each time. I read switch to HP over cannon because of ink cost and how much you get out of them. Not even close.... I would barely buy 2 sets a year with same usage. Also, normally my canon would run out of colors randomly telling me it uses them properly. It seems odd that the HP would run out of ALL ink at the same time since day one.

The ink does not last long. I am buying ink often.

I ordered 4 ink catridges and upon trying to use one of them, nothing woulkd print. I followed directions from HP on cleaning print header to no avail. Second one worked. I still have 2 left but was hoping not to have to pay for an ink cartridge that did not work.

This product is better than the xl, that you see!!

They have to do something so the ink last longer!!!!

This is a really good ink for my printer! I have used cheaper versions and will never use them again! I have never had a problem and it seems to last through many printings and copies

Only anecdotal evidence, but these cartridges seem to run out way too quickly. Seems like I am always replacing them, and we don’t really print that much. Got tired of the constant replacement, so we bought a laser printer.

I need ink too often and that bothers me as I would like to get more work done in a shorter time. I used to have a laser so it was not so wasteful but I wanted to have color and so went with a new computer that I could afford. I just cannot afford the ink

Ink runs out quickly and i find myself having to buy ink a little too often. I'm a little hesitant to pay the extra $11 to buy the XL cartridge because I'm afraid it won't be much better. The ink itself is fine and looks good on paper and in photos.

I’ve owned probably 6 different HP printers. After having a problem and calling customer service to solve the problem. Their basic solution is to sell me another HP crap printer or charge me to help solve my printer problem w/o guaranteeing that they would solve the problem however I didn’t want another HP printer they are crap. I bought a brothers instead therefore I-never used the new cartridge that I bought. I recommend that people do not purchase HP printers they have really poor customer service and no follow up on your problems.

I bought this ink for a printer that I had also purchased from Best Buy. In addition to having printer issues, I found the ink did not last long at all although my printing volume was extremely low.

Bought this Black HP printer cartridge, along with a full color set, to replace one that had just run out and this one would not print at all. Have cleaned a number of times...to the point that all the color cartridges are now about 1/3 gone. Tried to contact Best Buy by phone several times and all I get is the opening menu routines over and over. I have tried every department option and it just goes back to the beginning of the menu every time! I'm done with Best Buy!!!!!

Although the generic ink cartridges work, HP won't honor their warranty if you use them, thus buying the HP brand. They run out quite quicklly if you don't use the printer often. Ink is also expensive.

Ink cartridges are expensive and the normal sized ones do not last very long. I would spring for the XL version so you get more ink for a price that isn't too much more than the normal cartridge.

Ink is expensive and uses up very quickly but unfortunately there is no choice but to use HP ink in a HP printer. I have tried alternate brands and they leak.
