    The XL provides a bit longer life than the basic cartridge but they all run out fairly quickly with very basic minimal home use.

    HP has changed the size of the cartridge to half of what it was originally. They claim it hold the same amount of ink I do not believe them

    I bought this cartridge for my printer and the quality of pictures is very good. not sure about the high yield reference, but seems the same as the regular cartridge.
