    my hp photosmart 7520 requires hp ink cartridges. The 564 is the only one I can use. I buy the 564XL in hopes of it lasting longer. It is too time consuming to keep a count of the number of pages I print on a cartridge, so I do not know it it last as long as it is suppose to.

    My overall opinion of the cartridges that have to be used is just fair. Having to snap off the protective shields is bothersome. I would not recommend buying a printer that has to use them. The HP 02 cartridges are much easier to install and I wish I could find the printer that uses them.
