Bad Customer Service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 4 ink cartridges for my HP Printer. When I tired to install them, I got an error message saying the ink cartridges were not authentic. About 1 week later when I had the time, I tried to return the defective ink cartridges to Best Buy Aiea. At the customer service desk, I was met by store manager Shaun Troop who told me that once a ink cartridge is opened, they cannot take it back. I tried to explain that they were defective and I had just bought it. I told him if that is their policy I might as well buy ink from Costco now. How can you buy ink, then it doesn't work, and you are stuck with a defective item? Anyway one of their technicians tested it out and it read as empty. How could it be empty when it was new and I never even used it? To make a long story short, I bought 4 ink, they didn't work, and now I am stuck with ink that doesn't work and about $80. This would not happen at the Honolulu location where there is a different store manager who really makes your shopping experience a great one.
