I find that even when the printer alerts you that the ink is low, the XL cartridge works much longer than the standard cartridge. You also get more ink per dollar.

Great Ink for the price

I decided to try out the XL ink to see if it will last a bit longer than the regular HP-564 and so far it definitely does. Would rather pay a few dollars more and be able to use longer.

Good to go with original HP printer cartridges

I tend to use it quite a bit for home printing, I always replace the black cartridge with the 564XL to give me more printing. Crisp printing, and copying, however it still feels like I don't get the minimum number of sheets they claim the cartridge will last for, oh well.
