Posted .Hi,
I'm sorry to hear that you got so few copies from the cartridges. It does seem like you should have gotten many more!
Provided the cartridge is not damaged or defective, the ink usage will determine how long it will last. High-density prints (such as photos) will require more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry.
I'm wondering if the cartridges stopped because they need to be cleaned. That is an easy process. You can check the user guide if you are uncertain how to start the automatic process.
If that helps, the printer might have been turned off using a power strip or switch. The printer should always be turned off using the power button on the printer itself. That will let the printer 'park' so that the cartridges are protected from excess drying. The drying can cause clogs to form in the tiny nozzles that spray the ink onto the paper.
If that does not help, it is probable that the cartridge is defective, and you can:
- ask the seller for a replacement,
- contact us if a defective genuine HP cartridge is not replaced by the seller (and is still within the warranty end dates on the cartridge) you can reach us for support at: hp.com/contactHP

Upgrade printer instead.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is just a crappy out of date Ink for a crappy out of date printer. If not used on a regular basis it will dry up. It is what it is. I personally am going to update my printer next time instead of wasting my money.

Posted .Hi,
I am sorry that you have had this experience. I might be able to help you with this.
If you only print occasionally, it is a good idea to shut the printer down between uses. However, it is important to always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridge is protected from excessive drying which leads to clogging up the tiny inkjet nozzles.
The seller is responsible for the quality of what is sent. Contact the seller when a cartridge is not satisfactory

HP Printers Ink
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP printers ink doesn't last as long as display would suggest. It runs out while display is still showing one third or quarter of the ink is left in a cartage. Is it designed to run out prematurely or cartage indicator is not showing the actual ink level?

Posted .Hi Christopher,
I am sorry that the cartridges did not keep going past partly full. I can understand if you are disappointed!
As long as the cartridges are genuine HP ones and not refilled, the ink gauge should show the correct amount. It could be that the cartridges are stopping not because they are empty, but because they need cleaning. That is a pretty simple process that can be started from the printer's menu. It might need to be run more than once though.
If that helps, the printer might have been turned off using a power strip or switch. The printer should always be turned off using the power button on the printer itself. That will let it 'park' so that the cartridges are protected from excess drying. The drying can cause clogs in the tiny nozzles that spray the ink onto the paper.
If that does not help, it is probable that the cartridge is defective, and, it is advisable to talk to the seller about a refund or replacement.
