For some reason I have been finding it hard to locate 60 ink. So with the XL I don't have to go to the store ad often.

I like to purchase the XL inks because they do last longer than the "regular" cartridges. I have to do quite a bit of printing, and I'm not having to replace the cartridge as often if I use the high yield type.

Prints lots of pages and lasts a long time! Better value than just the 60 black cartridge.

I have tried non-HP brands looking for savings but have been unhappy with the results. I have not had a failure with HP ink cartridges and I have been a purchaser for several years.

I love the HP XL cartridges because they do last a long time. However, it seems that all printers notify you of a low ink setting when it is still holding plenty of ink. My printer shows a scale... I wish that the ink cartridge had it's own way of telling you how many "pages" it had left. I know some printers do -- but I am not that fortunate. As for the cartridges, the XL's are my favorite because I print so much for work and home that I need to higher quantity ink. HP has great quality!

easy to install and set up. the xl version lasts forever at my house so i don't have to purchase often

I purchased the HP - 60XL High-Yield Ink Cartridge - Black from my local best buy. They give a 15% off everyday discount for their My Best Buy members so I don't have to shop sales elsewhere.

I have used both the regular size cartridge and this XL size. This is the best value for your money. I shopped around and found the best price on Best Buy's website. I have a Best Buy store where I live so I dropped in to pick this item up. The shelf price was $4 more than the website price. I recommend comparing prices if you're going in to their stores. This has happen 4 or 5 times. They matched the price but buyers do your homework!

If you were dumb enough (like me) to buy a HP printer that uses these cartridges, well then there's not much to say. The fit the machine & you can print a few pages before they run out. They are more economical than the regular cartridges.
