    Had a repeated problem with the old tri-color cartridge. The printer kept refusing to print, saying the cartridge was not compatible even though it was a genuine HP cartridge. Had to keep pulling the cartridge out of the printer or turning printer off and then on to reset it. Replaced it with a new cartridge and now it is ok. Wish manufacturers would not put this kind of technology into their printers.
