    While the cartridges are good, the rate at which the hp printer needs new cartridges is excessive and expensive compared to my other printer by a different manufacturer. Also, you can't count on the XL size always being available. If you have a cannon printer, it's better to have an XL size cartridge on hand rather than thinking you can just pick one up when needed.
