    I have a problem with the Tri-Color cartridge, it keeps giving me an error message on the printer, "color cartridge is not compatible. They both came in the same package, but I cannot change out the color. The black fitted in with no problem. Can I return the two? I don't know what to do.

      Hi there,

      I'm sorry you received a message that the cartridge is incompatible. As you need the black and color cartridge, these messages must hinder printing. I can help you figure out why the cartridge is not working. First, try resetting the printer. Often, a restart will allow the printer recognize the cartridge. Next, try cleaning the cartridge. Use a damp cloth to clean the printhead. Thank you for choosing HP.

    The ink does not last over 250 sheets of paper. I have tried everything to conserve ink but it still runs out quickly. The ink is expensive for the amount that you get.
