This was the worst experience I have ever had at a store that would sell used up ink cartridges. Then I go online to report the issue and there is no store chat or email available to report the issue and the store is not open.

So I put the old cartridge back in and it worked perfectly. Now I have to spend more money to get the right one. The expiration date on package is October 2121. I’m referring to only one cartridge.

I was unhappy to find you are having this problem. I understand if you are upset by this.
Usually when the printer will not recognize a cartridge with the correct number, it means that the cartridge is defective.
You can return it or exchange it either to the store or by mail. According to the Best Buy website: "If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to Best Buy and we'll arrange for a replacement. If you would rather return the item by mail during your return and exchange time period, please call us for special instructions at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289)."

The cartridge when installed caused a printer message that said Black Cartridge Problem. I have never had this happen before.
