- contacting the seller for a replacement or refund

I made less than 50 color copies (with a minimal amount of color) and my cartridge lasted 1 week. The black cartridge lasted an additional week. I will purchase another printer before buying more cartridges for this printer.

If you there is something wrong with the cartridges, you are always free to contact the seller to make this right for you.
If a problem seems to be a genuine HP cartridge that is defective, that it is not replaced by the seller (and is still within the warranty end dates on the cartridge) you can reach out to us for support: hp.com/contactHP

The he salesman asked what printer I had and I told him. I didn’t realize I’ll I got back home that it was the wrong ones. Sold me 61 instead of 64 hp cartridge. A total waste of money cause the just don’t work. To far and way too much trouble to try and bring back. Won’t buy them there again

We've used other after market printer refill brands and have never seen this type of problem. Save your money and go aftermarket refills. Printers get replaced quicker these days. Why insist on the name brand refills because the instructions say you have to. I would not buy again. Waste of money. Regret

I am sorry that you don't consider the cartridges to be a good value. However, I can provide some insight as to why it’s advantageous to use our cartridges and ink. Original HP cartridges are designed to work better with our printers to deliver quality and reliability.
HP has formulated inks that are water-resistant and fade-resistant. While those qualities might not be immediately evident, it’s important when it comes to the permanence and durability of your prints. If you’re interested, you can read more here: www8.hp.com/us/en/printers/print-permanence
Generic ink usually does not perform as well and the refilling process damages the cartridge. That is probably why some shops will limit the number of refills. Also, please be aware that any damage to the printer caused by the leaking or corrosion from generic ink refills will not be covered by warranty.
I can certainly understand wanting to find more affordable options for your printing, but there are always trade-offs that should be considered.
