    I purchased an HP 61 black ink cartridge for my printer. I was pleased to see this model was in stock since my printer is very old but functional. I always have sticker shock when seeing the price for replacement ink cartridges, but coupon promotion helped cushion the cost. I only purchased black ink and not colored cartridge, to be able to print in black and white, to save on costs. Found that you have to use ink once installed in printer, or it will dry out.
