This was a gift for a friend who could not find in other stores.

I wish that ink could be cheaper - I don't use a lot of it and it seems to dry out before I finish using the cartridge.

i used generic products before and always have to reprint cause of missing letters or has lines. better use original HP.

Black ink is crisp and works well with my printer. Doesn't smudge. However, I would recommend buying the 61XL - more prints for the money.

The ink cartridge works fine. But, since I rarely printout, it's frustrating to buy a $15 ink cartridge every other month. Should I go back to paying per-print at the local pharmacy copy machine(10 cents per print)? Hmmm. HP needs to lower their prices already. Is ink more expensive than gas now? I guess those octopus are hard to catch, huh? I guess the $15 is worth it for me not to have to go deep sea diving for ink. Where does this ink come from? Why is it so expensive?

Works well. A little pricey and doesn’t go a long way but it works and prints come out fine.

this is a standard ink cartridge and works well. but it dries up fast. I don't print alot. So, I don't get full usage...

Great product for the price. Not great for people that need to print a lot. I would recommend the XL version if you need the extra ink and usually it end up being cheaper.
