    I can see the difference using oem vs refilled generic cartridges. Nice heavy black ink printing and stays put, even on glossy paper. Free shipping doesn't hurt either!

    Have used the HP 61 cartridge for years on various printers. Always come out of the box fresh...never dried up. They last a long time and don't dry up in the printer when not in use. Very happy with it.

    In my experience, the 61 provides just as much printing as the 61XL for those that don't frequently use the printer as the cartridge tends to dry out or gum up if not used regularly. Save a few bucks for the occasional print needs.

    We mostly use our HP printer for our high school age son to print school work. This cartridge is very affordable and it lasts a reasonable time. We've had printers in the past where the cartridge runs out quickly and is expensive to replace frequently. This, however, has been a good purchase.
