    I buy the ink on days that it's cheaper in the store and online cause they five you an extra 15 % off when you use your best buy card.

    I believe in buying HP products for HP items. So if all you need is black ink, buying the one actually intended for your printer will always be good for the printer. I have never had a problem with HP ink cartridges.

    The 61 cartridge gives you a little less ink than the 61XL cartridge, but for those that do not print that often, it's perfect.

    As stated these are the only cartridges worth buying for this model. Do not waste your time with a generic cartridge from eBay, just get the real thing!

    I only buy my ink cartridges from Best Buy. I use to use re-inked cartridges but I found that was a waste of time and money.

    This is the only ink I use for my printer. If your only using it for personal use and do not use it seldom it will last. Not recommended for everyday school or business use.
